me, Ron, Hermione and Harry stood huddled around a corner, underneath the invisibility cloak, waiting for Fred and George to start their 'distraction', Luna and Ginny have taken their place outside of Umbridge's office
suddenly, there is a bang like a canon has gone off, and the whole castle shakes. dust drifts down from the ceiling.
we watch as Umbridge stumbles down from her office, looking up at the ceiling.
Filch suddenly comes bounding down the hallway and we sink farther behind the corner
"Professor! its those Weasley twins! they've set something off in the Astronomy Tower!" Filch says
Umbridge smiles twistedly "ready to try out the old punishments again?"
"they've had this coming for a long time!" Filch grins
Umbridge and Filch run off in the direction of the Astronomy Tower
all four of us move in union to Umbridge's office and let ourselves in.
"go!" i tell Harry after we had taken the invisibility cloak off
he nods his head and grabs some Floo Powder and walks over to the fireplace
"Grimmauld Place." Harry says right before he vanishes in a flash of green light
i stand chewing on my lip nervously
"will you calm down? you're making us more nervous!" Ron says
"sorry. I'm just....nevermind." i say
i turn my wand over in my hand again and again. thinking about what had happened earlier today.
i stand in the girls bathroom staring at my reflection in the mirror. the purple veins that once only took over my arm had now traveled down my chest and stopped at my waist line.
something was wrong with this. this is not what is supposed to happen. why do these veins keep appearing everywhere?
suddenly the door to Umbridge office is opened wide and Luna, Ginny and Neville are thrown into the room. marching behind them are Umbridge and her little 'squad', which included my boyfriend
"WHERE IS HE?" Umbridge yells
"who?" i ask cocking my eyebrow
"DONT YOU SASS TALK ME, YOUNG LADY. WHERE IS POTTER?!" she yelled once again
Ron nervously darted his eyes to the fireplace and Umbridge grinned wildly before walking over to it.
she reached her hand through the fireplace, grabbed ahold of Harry's head and threw him down in her office.
"you think you could simply walk into my office without me knowing about? foolish boy!" Umbridge yells at Harry
"accio wands" Umbridge says
all of our wands go flying to Umbridge and land in a pile by her feet.
"guard them." Umbridge says pointing to me, Hermione, Ron, Luna, and Neville
the 'squad' begins surrounding us, making sure there was no way out.
Draco kept looking at me nervously.
Umbridge throws Harry in a chair
"who were you trying to contact?" she asks
"its none of your business." Harry answers
"Draco, would you fetch Professor Snape, please?" Umbridge asks giving Draco a grin
Draco leaves but not without giving me a quick glance of sorrow written all of over his face
"very well, Potter. i have been patient enough with you." Umbridge says
Draco returns back with Snape
"you wished to see me?" Snape says
"i have just caught Potter trying to communicate with someone in my fire. i need some Veritserum." she says
"well, it appears that i cannot help you. i have none." Snape says before turning to leave
"he has Padfoot! at the place it is hidden!" Harry yells
"what? what does that mean?" Umbridge asks startled
"Potter, if i want nonsense shouted at me, i shall inform you." Snape snaps before leaving the office
"we've played nicely, Potter. you leave me no choice!" Umbridge says angrily
she draws her wand, moving menacingly at Harry.
"you could have saved me a lot of trouble if those Dementors i sent to your house had finished you off." Umbridge says
i gasp loudly
"you sent the Dementors?" Harry asks shocked
"of course i did! someone had to act!" Umbridge yelled
she points her wand at Harry's chest
"CRUCIO!" she yells
Harry screams as the curse washes over him. he slumps to the ground, shaking wildly
"no! please, stop!" i yell
Umbridge looks pleased and turns to me
"well, well." she says
"Vanessa, no!" Harry yells as Umbridge screams "CRUCIO!" at me
i double over in pain. the purple veins running over my skin began burning me like a hot pan.
"AHHHH!" i scream out
"Expelliarmus!" Draco yells at Umbridge
her wands flies from her hands, the curse being lifted from me
"Draco!" Umbridge gasps
Draco ignores her and reaches down to help me up
"thank you." i whisper into his neck as he pulled me closer to him
"we have to tell her, Harry." Hermione says
"i would rather die!" Harry yells
"shut up, Potter! now talk, you silly girl. who were you talking to?" Umbridge says picking her wand back up
"we were trying to find Professor Dumbledore. we had to tell him..." Hermione travels off
"tell him?" Umbridge encourages
"that its ready. his weapon." Hermione says
Umbridge's eyes are shining with eagerness. she smiles at Hermione.
"you and Mr. Potter will take me to it." she says
Hermione nods and begins walking out of the office.
and then i realize
she's going to visit Grawp.
