Hello everyone! I have currently a Gwynriel shot in the works which i hope to release soon, but for now enjoy some controversial and non controversial opinions lmao. ALSO PLEASE READ THIS but i know there's a ton of acosf post gwynriel fics and i kind of want to write one, thoughts? i have some theories of how things would go after acosf and i think it'd be fun to write, i just don't know if people would read that so yeahh.

#1– I feel like SJM treated one of the most traumatizing events of Feyre's entire life as a mere plot point in Nesta's development and we deserved pregnancy from Rhysand and Feyre's perspective, and not have it treated like a stepping stone in another character's journey.

#2– The Elain and Gwyn hate is so embarrassing. It's is completely fine to dislike a character, but for the sole purpose of the ships Gwynriel and Elriel...be so for real oml. I'm actually lowkey embarrassed of the amount of Gwynriel stans who are making the most ridiculous accusations against Elain and same goes for all the Elriel fans who do the exact same thing towards Gwyn. Especially when Gwyn, as a character, has done nothing bad towards anyone and was only ever kind. And honestly, all the fighting with these ships is ridiculous—it's a literal fictional book series.

#3– Although I do appreciate and understand Nesta's development, it still doesn't excuse her actions towards those who only ever cared for her.

#4– Both Nesta and Elain should be faulted, they both treated Feyre horribly and it's extremely biased to hate only one.

#5– If SJM actually wanted Elriel to happen she wouldn't have even bothered with Gwyn and Azriel in the bonus chapter, she would've just had it as Elriel. I could be wrong, but if there's one thing SJM doesn't do, it's create more drama between multiple characters in a relationship. There's never any cheating or other woman/man conflict (not counting any dead ones obv)...she wouldn't add a gwynriel snippet for no reason🤷‍♀️. The first love interests have their flings then leave/die yet Azriel hasn't had a fling or dead love interest so it wouldn't make sense.

#6– I like Azriel but we know absolutely nothing about him, the bonus chapter was our first ever look into his thoughts, and i know a lot of people weren't impressed but y'all cannot be saying it's 'out of character for him' cause we don't even know really what's in character.

#7– Cassian is not a himbo frat boy. For a matter of fact, out of the entire IC, he has the absolute highest emotional intelligence. Cassian who visited every family of his fallen soldiers, Cassian who was the first person Feyre cried to after UTM, Cassian who was one of the only people who continued to believe in Nesta, Cassian who reads war strategy books, Cassian who keeps Rhysand's extremely sacrificial tendencies in check...yeah Cassian is not a himbo just because he has a sense of humour.

#8– Tamlin doesn't deserve Feyre's forgiveness, along with the abuse and awful behaviour of Tamlin (which some people are willing to forgive??) he also talked about Feyre in the most crude and demeaning ways in front of ALL the high lords...it's like he doesn't want her to be respected.
