I held my wife's hand as we took a plunge into the water. Y/n broke through the surface laughing. "That's was so fun!"
"What's next on our bucket list?" She asked. I smiled thinking back on when we were young. We were both in different worlds. I was her body guard and she was a rich heiress. I never would've thought we'd get married and grow old together.
I'm very glad for that. The two of us took a while to dry our shaking bodies and then proceeded to go climb mount everest.
There was nothing stopping us now that we were old and close to death, buy we felt free.
Days later we managed to complete our bucket list. We were both lying on our deathbed while surrounded by our children and grandchildren. They were all crying
With shaking hands I told them to hold their head high, because this wasn't the end and me and y/n will always be there in spirit.
Y/n passed away a few minutes later and I could feel myself doing the same. I felt my soul leave my body. I held unto my wife as we ascended to heaven. An oasis paradise.
True to our word we watched over our family from the burial till the next generations.
