Chapter 7

Hi Mom, greets Anna

Grandpa came asking for Ken, said her mom.

I don't know. I came with Moyron.

That's good then. I'm happy you are agreeing with me.

Mom. Please. I don't want to be with him

You will be at good with him. He's rich he can get you anything, Anna's mother says walking toward her.

Mom I don't want someone rich but someone who loves me.

Anna he loves you... it's just that he doesn't know how to express says her mom.

Who the hell pushes, slaps his love. Just tell me mom, Anna says

Anna I just want you to be stable and it could only happen with money. I don't want you to end up like me, with neither love nor money, her mom says hugging her.

I know mom. You always wanted the best for me but this time you are just chasing someone wrong with right intention says Anna.

Mom and daughter sleep together that night in the hall.
Anna rubs her eye in the middle of night and walks to her window to peek at Ken's house and all she notices in dark is heavy rainfall and a flickering light.

Anna... her mother shouts

Coming ... says Anna as she runs on the stairs.

Grandpa..

Have you seen Ken, he isn't home since last night, says grandpa.

I'll bring him,says Anna.

Where....... okay take care... said her mom as Anna runs out.

She firstly calls Jacob and asks his help.
And then she takes him to their place, the place that was theirs.

That's it, she shouts pointing toward a body lying dead on the ground.

She helds Ken's head on her legs, pats his face and within few seconds Ken open's his eyes. His eyes has a look of compassion, regret, warmth, he settles for her look and then dozes off to sleep.

She sits like that for hour with Ken in silence, in complete silence adoring him. She laces her finger to his Jawline that could slaughter her fingers.

He wakes up and looks into her eyes that has the same feeling for him and they just blankly stare at each other while Jacob is seated next to them.

Ken, I want you to kiss me like no one has ever did and prove how much you love me . Please. Prove that what I think when I look into your eyes is true; instead She says

Let's go. Pa is worried.

Ken is soaked. He stumbles as he stands and  reaches for hand.

She settles him in her car and directly stops at her neighborhood's door. She let's him lean over to her while he tries to walk. Pa helps her and she lays him on his head, a room that is not very big but enough to hold a single bed, a study table   sided with a computer desk and a few posters of his favorite bands like BTS and 1D and some singer's that include Taylor Swift, XXXTentacion,Harry styles, Ed Sheeran and Alec Benjamin.
While his stack of books lies on the floor .

Thank you Anna. Pa praises as he walks her out of the door.

Mention not Pa, Anna says as she smiles ear to ear.

She turns to see Moyron looking at her frustrated. She gulps,her tongue circles her upper lip and her teeth bite her lower lip. She fastens her walk and then she's close to him in second.

Explain? Moyron demands.

Ken wasn't home since last night. So grandpa asked me to help him finding him, says Anna her hands at her back.

From the next time ask me, says Moyron as opens the car door and leaves .

Anna releases a sigh of relief.
