Balora Greywood felt the tremors of power run raggedly up the knots of her spine like bolts of lightning as under her Midnight landed upon the soft and tender earth with a blood-curdling roar of triumph and a thunderous stomp of clawed feet. Wings flapping once or twice before curling possessively into the tender ground as he steadied himself but his rider, when steadied, the older dragon groaned and growled as he moved to sit upon the lands he had now claimed for himself. His body sagged to the ground to rest from the long and tiring flight that both he and his rider had embarked upon.
Balora cooed and smiled down upon the large beast, her leathered-gloved hands releasing the polished reigns she had once held tightly in her palms during the whole of the flight to stroke loving the burning and rough hide of the dragon underneath her.
