"I am not throwin' away my shot." The smaller male stated as he moved closer to the group of four. "My name is Alexander Hamilton, and I am not throwin' away my shot." He repeated.

"Well, okay then, as I said before, I'm John Laurens." John told Alexander, pointing at himself before continuing; "That is Hercules Mulligan, Lafayette - he has a super long name, so we just call him Lafayette - and that's Catherine Blanchet. She has many names, too, but for now... we are just calling her Cathy." He introduced the others.

Catherine frowned. "Cathy?" She whispered to herself before shaking her head. "Anyway, what leads you here, Alexander?"

The young man smiled a little smile at the question. "I'm a diamond in the rough, a shiny piece of coal. I want to be discovered and achieve great things here."

"So you're here to go off to war, too?" Hercules asked him while Lafayette took a drink of his beer beside him.

"In a short way - yes." Alexander stated. "In a longer way- Britain keeps shittin' on us endlessly. Essentially, they tax us relentlessly. And then King George turns around and runs a spendin' spree.
He's never gonna set his descendants free. Something has to be done. It's about time there is a revolution in this century." He elaborated.

"Hear hear." Hercules raised his mug, his three friends doing the same while Alexander just stared with a little smile on his face.

John swallowed what beer left in his mouth before he spoke again. "Mh, just asking, what are you going to do after the war?" He asked.

"I want to see this country free. And when we're free I want to make this country the strongest country of all times." Alexander answered. His four new friends nodded at that.

"So don't be shocked when the history books mention me. I will lay down my life if it sets us free.
Eventually, you'll see my ascendancy." He continued loudly, his friends cheering him on.

"Hell, I am not throwin' away my shot!"

"Yeah!"

They all laughed and cheered while continuing to drink. Alexander finally joined them at their table.

"Now, Lafayette, what do you dream of getting from the Revolution?" Catherine asked Lafayette as she set her mug down.

Lafayette sat up straight, "I dream of life without a monarchy.
The unrest in France will lead to anarchy." He stated his dream while raising his glass up. Sadly, pronouncing a word wrong.

"Anarchy?" Catherine repeats what her new friend said with a raised eyebrow and a confused look.

"Huh? Oh, how you say, how you, oh, anarchy?" He questioned himself, making sure he had pronounced it right.
"When I fight, I make the other side panicky with my, shot." The Marquis continued, now confident with himself.

"Huh, wow. What about you, Herc?" John asked the tailor. "Why are you here?" He continued before drinking again.

"I'm a tailor's apprentice and I got y'all knuckleheads in loco parentis." The tall man answered with a smirk.

"Loco parentis?" Laurens questioned. Him being ignored by the others.

"I'm joining the rebellion 'cause I know it's my chance to socially advance. Instead of sewin' some pants I'm gonna take a shot!" Hercules continued.

Catherine set her cup down. "I mean, that's cool and all, but can we maybe keep in mind that there are still people being sold to serve white people without having any rights?"

"That's right. We'll never be truly free. Until those in bondage have the same rights as you and me." John agreed with Catherine. He pointed towards her and himself as he said,"You and I,"
