Neteyam's pov..
I woke up earlier than the rest of my family, naturally no matter how late I stay up I wake up early unless I'm sick. I sat myself up and rubbed my eyes with my fingers, I took a minute to yawn.
Randomly I remember last night when Aonung called me '’ pretty boy ’' and smiled to myself, it's not like I liked the boy it was just a cute nickname. (Or so he thinks)
”Neteyam?” tuk said rubbing her eyes and lifting herself up from the mat ”oh tuk good morning” I smiled at her ”OH Reya said she would like to see us this morning for breathing lessons!” tuk said getting off the mat and running to lo’ak to wake him up ”LO’AK!”she said as she jumped on him ”whaaaat” the boy said as he rolled in his back ”JUST GET UP” Tuk yelled at him
- time skip -
We walked up to Aonung and Tsireya at some rock that they were sitting at. Aonung smirked at me "weirdo" I thought to myself ”hey guys! Sit down” Tsireya said waving at us ”hey Tsireya” lo’ak said smiling as we sat down, me and aonung looked at each other making fun of lo’ak ”so what are we doing again?” Kiri asked ”well we were going to teach to how to breath properly, but rotxo didn't show up yet so I guess we can swim until he shows up” Tsireya said
”WAIT IM HERE! HOLD ON” I heard a yell behind me say, I turned and it was Rotxo ”sorry I'm-” he took a second to breath ”late I had to” he paused again ”eat breakfast” he said while wiping his forehead. I smiled a bit ”oh since he's here now are we going to do the breathing shit?” I asked turning my head back to the others ”nahh don't feel like it, also we gotta see what we are working with” Aonung smiled
”YAY!” Tuk yelled jumping into the water ”Tukkkk” Kiri scoffed as she jumped after her ”come on skxawng” I told lo’ak while I jumped into the water
- time skip -
We were swimming but we couldn't swim for long, we couldn't hold our breath long enough
I signed to lo’ak ’' up '’ with my hands as I swam up reaching the top gasping for air tuk and lo’ak followed. The other three in the water seemed confused and swam up too ”are you okay?” Tsireya spoke softly ”you guys are swimming too fast, wait for us!!” tuk complained ”you guys are not good divers, may be good at swinging tree to-” aonung said before getting hit in the head ”we don't understand that finger talk thing” I said
”of course you don't” Aonung rolled his eyes ”look we should do the breathing tomorrow” Tsireya said ”wheres kiri?”rotxo asked ”kiri?” I said ”whos Kiri?” Aonung asked ”yeah where's kiri?” rotxo talked over aonung ”ah she'll be fine” lo’ak said
- TIME SKIP AGAIN -
We were out of the water and on the rock again we also found kiri ”so what should we do?” Rotxo said looking at everyone taking a pause at Kiri ”sleep” I mumbled and rolled my eyes ”neteyam shut the hell up” lo’ak glared at me joking ”so mean” I smiled. I looked in front of me and all I see is aonung smiling at me and I winked at him and then talked to rotxo for a few minutes
”hey me and tuk are going to go back to the pod” Kiri said holding tuk ”oh bye then!” Tsireya said ”see you tomorrow” Kiri said walking off
”hey Tsireya wanna go on a walk?” lo’ak asked ”oh sure, you guys don't mind right? ” Tsireya said as she got up ”I don't really care” I said ”wait-” Aonung was going to say something but Tsireya ran away already ” hah love birds” I spoke to myself ”its gross” aonung scoffed ”a cute kinda gross though” I said
”anyways stalker, you sucked at swimming today” aonung said tilting his head ”sorry fish lips I'm better at swinging through trees” I faked a smile as a joke ”hey I call you forest boy for a reason” Aonung shrugged and scooted closer ”what are you doing?” I asked him ”just, I don't know just getting closer?” He shrugged again
”mkay” I raised my brow. I kept looking down at Aonung's lips not meaning to ”soo uh you like.. seashells? Or something? ” I said out of awkwardness ”uh I mean seashells are okay, but I think the Ilus are my favorite thing about this place” Aonung responded ”why?” I asked ”well they are just interesting, they think differently like no thought behind their eyes” Aonung laughed ”they're just really cute to me” he continued
”cool” I said looking in his eyes ”hey we're back” lo’ak said smiling ”well I should go now” I said getting up ”bye Fish face” I said while walking away with lo’ak
”bye!” he yelled
I got to the pod and immediately laid down thinking about Aonung, he's cute but I don't think too much about him
