Sorry this is short and pretty boring but I had to get past all of this stuff to move on to the more exciting things.

"What do you mean I can't be away from River?" I panicked.
"The pain is because in fact the baby is an alpha. He's developing fast and if River leaves your side then the pain is going to keep on getting worse. Courtney went through the same thing. We did all we could but River has to stay with you at all times." Nate explained.
"I can't stay at her side the whole time. I have alpha business to deal with. She can't be involved in that." River growled angerly.
"River she could die if you leave her." Aubrey snapped ready to pounce and kill River if he said one wrong thing.
"Look you guys, I'll be fine. I don't need anybody to protect me." I said confidently.
"Ramona get real. We all know what's going to happen if I leave your side. Stop being so hard headed and immature. Realize that you need me now." River snapped.
"I don't need anyone." I grumbled under my breath.
"So what are we going to do?" River asked turning to Nate.
"River you're going to have to give up being alpha for the last 4 1/2 months of her pregnancy. She needs you." Nate said.
"I can't do that. She's going to have to find another way to cope without me because I can't do that." He growled.
"I'm sorry that we're such a burden to you." I snapped.
"You're not I just-" He began.
"Look can we all argue this later? Ramona's appointment is soon and if we're late she will have to reschedual." Aubrey snapped.
"Yeah let's go." I said linking my arm in with Aubrey's.
The ride to the doctors office was very awkward considering that River had never came to an appointment with me before. He wasn't speaking and I knew that he was definatly upset about having to give up being alpha for a while. But he had to know that having this kid was going to mean making sacrafises.
I sat on the bed thing with the paper that krinkled annoyingly underneath me when I laid down. My doctor seemed shocked to see River was acutally here but believe me if he didn't have to be here he wouldn't be.
"I can hear the heart beat!" Aubrey squealed as the doctor moved the monitor thing around on my stomache.
I looked over at River who was staring at the screen not saying a word to anyone. His eyes were glued on the screen while the doctor took a few photos of the baby and the new development.
"Can you tell us the sex today?" I asked happily.
"I can, are you sure you want to know?" The doctor asked.
"Yes!" I said happily.
"It appears to be a girl." The doctor said.

"So what's going on with Clair?" I asked rolling over onto my side.
"What do you mean?" River asked getting comfortable behind me.
"You know what I mean River." I said angerly, pulling the blanket up over us.
"She's pregnant." He said quietly.
I felt the anger rise in me almost instantly. I wanted to yell, scream, and argue with him until one of us walked out but I wasn't allowed to be away from River so that wasn't going to work this time. She was pregnant with his baby, and so was I.
"Oh." I said scooching myself away from him a little bit.
"You asked." He stated.
"Yeah I did, but I was hoping you wouldn't say that." I groaned.
"I-" He began.
"She's pregnant River. How are you going to be there for her if you can't leave my side? I refuse to go see that horrible girl." I replied.
"You don't even know her." He snorted.
"You're standing up for her?" I snapped.
"Ramona you don't even know her. You only hate her or dislike her because she's also pregnant with my child. You can't hate her for a desicion that I chose to make." He stated.
"Don't worry I hate you both." I snapped.
"Why?" He asked angerly.
"You could have waited to find out if this baby was going to be an alpha. You chose to go fuck some slut and get her pregnant all because you THOUGHT that she wasn't going to be an alpha, well she is. What are you going to do now?" I growled.
"I don't know yet okay? I haven't thought about it completely yet." He answered.
"Goodnight River." I yawned.
"Ramona-" He began.
"River, just stop. I'm way too tired to argue with you right now." I said as I closed my eyes.

"22 Weeks." I groaned as I laid on my back listening to Aubrey look through her baby book.
"It says you will have difficulty breathing at time maybe, may grow unwanted hair, and oh, you're going to want sex." Aubrey laughed at the last one.
"I don't want sex." I commented.
"Not yet." She giggled.
"Sex?" River asked walking back into the room.
"Nothing you should be concerned about." I laughed.
"Ramona is going to be a horny animal very soon." Aubrey laughed.
"What else does it say?" I asked.
"It says during intercourse you may have fear of miscarriage or pregnancy failure. It's not very common but it has happened before." Aubrey said looking over at me.
"Don't worry because we won't be having sex." I said.
"I get a child and no sex. Great." River joked.
"Don't worry she's going to be completely perfect." I smiled.
"Look, I have to go see Clair today." He stated, catching me completely off guard.
"And?" I asked.
"You have to come with." He said.
"You know, you've been walking around the house. Doing work for Tony for about a week now and I haven't had any pains. Maybe we don't need to be attatched at the hip anymore." I said.
"Is this a nice way of you getting rid of me?" He asked.
"I just don't want to see that stupid girl." I said angerly.
"Don't worry babe, you know you're my number one." He laughed.
