My phone goes off. Who could that be? I'm with Mateo and Austin so it can't be them. Then the other phones in the room go off. There is only one person it could be now. Charley. "Char messaged" I shout, hoping they could hear me over the shower running. We always finish football and walk back to Mateo's becaus its the closest to the football pitch. Austin and I take spare clothes to change into after showering at Mat's and then we walk home.
"What did she say?" Austin asks
"Yeah, read the message out bro" Mateo adds
"Fine she asked 'do you guys wanna come over to mine for a sleepover? Maybe like saturday?"
"Is she mental?" Mateo asks "You know her parents wont allow that"
"Shall I ask what her parents have said about it?"
"That sounds like a good idea" Austin churps in
*What did your parents say about it?* I message
I lock my phone and put it face down on the table. I continue rubbing my hair up in a towel. In less than two seconds I my phone went off again.
*My parents said its fine, as long as u guys sleep in the guest room and not mine* She replied.
*Thats fair ig* I message back.
"So, what did she say?" Austin asks
"She said her parents are cool with it as long as we sleep in the guest room and not hers"
"That's fair"
*So, are we having that sleepover? It will be fun. Just like old times.*
She was right when she said old times. We haven't had a sleepover since we were about 7.
"She wants to know if we are gonna go"
"If you guys go I will," classic Mateo, he always says that.
"I'll go, it'll be fun" Austin says
*We are all gonna come*
*Yay great! Cya tmrw guys xx"
She always puts those little kisses at the end of a message, she always has. I finish drying my hair, and get dressed. About ten minutes later me and Austin are ready to leave. "Bye Mat, we'll see you tomorrow"
