IT'S BEEN THREE WEEKS since me and Jaden have broken up, and to be completely honest I miss Jaden so much, I miss FaceTiming him all night and him sneaking out to come see me.
For the last three weeks I have just been sitting at home, only leaving for school, and it's been so boring, i haven't been active on any of my socials because every time I would post the comments would be flooded with comments about me and Jaden and I just can't handle that right now.
People always say "things happen for a reason" and I've just been thinking about that quote for the past three weeks, but I just can't think of any reason why this would happen, this might sound really cheesy but I honestly thought me and Jaden would be together longer then this.
I climbed off my bed before I walked towards my bedroom door and exited it, I walked downstairs and into the kitchen, my mom was visiting her friend leaving me home alone, I didn't mind it tho.
I opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water before I walked into the living room, just as I was about to sit down on the couch I heard a knock on my door, I looked over at my door suspiciously before walking to it and opening up to reveal Jayla.
"Hii jay" I spoke excited to see her, she smiled at me before she started to speak.
"Hi, how have you been? We haven't talked in so long" Jayla said as she continued to smile at me.
"I've been okay" I spoke to the girl as my smile kind of faded.
"Let's go for a drive" Jayla said.
"I guess" I spoke as I smiled at the girl, she smiled back before we exited my house and walked to her car, I felt kind of awkward at first because we haven't hung out in so long but it soon started to feel less awkward, right now we were parked at a beach just talking to each other.
"I'm sorry for not talking to you, I've just needed some time to myself" I spoke as I looked down at my hands playing with them.
"It's totally fine y/n, you and Jaden broke up, it must be hard for you right now" Jayla spoke in a calm tone, I looked up at the girl as a smile crept onto my face.
"You wanna have a sleepover? We can get food and watch movies in my room?" Jayla asked, it took me a second to answer, I wanted to sleepover I mean she's my best friend, but I didn't want to see Jaden right now.
"Okay" I spoke as I slightly smiled at the girl.
"Don't worry, Jaden's not at home, he's staying at his friends house" Jayla spoke before she started her car and started to drive, it probably sounds childish of me to be avoiding Jaden, but I just don't know if I could talk to him, at least not right now.

"Hii y/n" daelo said as he smiled at me as I followed Jayla upstairs to her bedroom.
"Hi daelo" I spoke as I smiled at him.
"Why haven't you visited us?" He asked as he followed me and Jayla to her bedroom.
