People always ask me if I'm okay
Whether I miss you or resent you
And honestly I don't feel neither way

I hope you're dancing as if life was a ballet.
I hope you hold her like there's no tomorrow.
I hope you are properly loved and kept safe.
I hope you never drown in deep sorrow.
I hope your morning coffee tastes sweeter.
I hope you don't deal with many goodbyes.
I hope you're still that wanderlust dreamer.
I hope you never experience winters in July.
I hope you never feel forsaken.
I hope your skies never turn grey.
I hope your ground is never shaken.
I really hope you are okay.
