Lyra chuckled as she logged off. Ah, her friends never failed to make her laugh, even if they were being annoying. She wondered how they could all still be so cheerful even with the exam period coming up.

But hey, she wasn't complaining. I should attempt to put some, what was it called again? Ah, foundation, Lyra thought as she rummaged through her drawer. 

She's gotten quite a few makeup sets along the years but never found an interest in them. Today, however, she quite very much needed it, to cover her eye bags. 

Last night, along with some cans of coffee, she spent the entire 9? Or 10 hours trying to understand the percent composition of an element. Simple, she knew, but somehow she totally blanked out on that info and thus had to re revise everything again last night, if that was even a word.
