GIVE EACH OF YOUR CHARACTERS A DIFFERENT MANNER.
If you want the main character to be bubbly, then make it bubbly! Make sure they are cheerful (if you want to) and make sure that the sentences or ther lines show off their characteristics and manner.
Example:
Rose: a cheerful friend
Example line:"Oh, Clarissa! You can do that! Remember when we are in grade 1? You used to recite in front of 100+ audiences! GO CLARISSA,GO-GO CLARISSA!".
