chapter 1 ♡

(Thoma's) pov

...Kamisato Ayato...

is the name thoma can't get out in his head, he has had this feeling long long time ago, was this love? thoma never really knew, he didn't know if he was inlove or his mind is just playing around,

but all that changed when,
thoma saw him...with her...looking very amused with each other...

'i knew it..' thoma thought 'i never had a chance...' and before he knew it.. there was tears running down his cheek.

"hah..why am I even crying? i knew this would happen..but why does still hurt so much?.." thoma whispered to himself, he knew ayato would never liked him like that, because a servant, with the head of the kamisato clan? doubt that'll ever happen,

thoma just went to his room and layed on his bed covering his face with a pillow, "i'm so pathetic.." thoma said still crying, a few hours of crying he ended up crying himself to sleep,

~next day~

'ngh..what time is it?' thoma thought and got up to check the time, "5:30?..the twins should still be asleep, i guess i should get ready now.." thoma said still tired from crying all night, a few minutes later thoma changed into a new pair of clothes and went outside,

"how am i supposed to face waka like this..." thoma whispered to himself "what do you mean?" a familiar voice spoke, "o-oh m'lady! you're awake?"
thoma responded surprised ayaka was awake earlier than usual.

"yeah..but what do you mean by you can't face brother? did something happen?" ayaka said worriedly
"u-uhm it's nothing m'lady.." thoma said with a shaky voice, ayaka immediately knew something was off, "come on thoma..please tell me?" ayaka said,

"i-its nothing really my lady.." thoma said nervously "alright.."ayaka spoke as she walked away.

thoma went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast, but the scene kept repeating in his head, then he felt tears running down his cheek again,
'ugh..! i-i can't cry now..!' thoma thought,

but he couldn't stop it, more and more tears just kept coming, so he cried quietly while making breakfast, he finally stopped crying after he finished making breakfast,

"there..all finished.." thoma said forcing a smile, "good morning thoma.." thoma heard the familiar delicate voice, "..waka's voice.. why'd he have to wake up now..!" thoma thought as he tried his best to face ayato.

"g-good morning waka! h-how was your sleep?" thoma said, "it was alri-" ayato stopped when he saw thoma's eyes, they were so puffy and red, "thoma? are you alright?" ayato asked with a slight panic in his voice,

"u-uhm yes? why do you ask?.." thoma said avoiding eye contact, "your eyes..have you been crying..?" ayato asked even more worried "o-of course not! why would i need to cry?"
thoma spoke "alright if you say so.."
ayato said.

"good morning brother!"
ayaka said "good morning ayaka."
ayato said in response, ayaka glanced at thoma who appeared to have just finished crying, but ayaka just ignored the thought and sat down to eat,

"thanks for the food thoma!" ayaka said exited to eat the food that thoma made, "no problem m'lady.."
thoma said quietly, ayato glanced at the blonde boy, 'thoma..is he really alright..?' ayato thought before he started eating,

the kamisato twins started talking to each other, while thoma on the other hand just kept his head low not speaking at all,

a few moments later all of them finished eating and thoma went to wash the dishes "I'll just have to avoid waka if i want to end these feelings.."
thoma thought to himself,

"brother! thoma! i'll be hanging out with yoimiya!" ayaka yelled before heading out the door, "ngh..why did m'lady have to go out today..i'll be alone with waka all day..but, waka is busy so it'll be fine.." thoma said to himself,

a few hours has passed and thoma kept himself busy with cleaning trying really hard not to cry, "maybe waka is better with her.." thoma said quietly, "finally all done.." ayato spoke finishing his last few paper work,

"ugh i have to meet up with her again tomorrow..i don't understand why i have to marry her..when i clearly have thoma.."ayato whispered to himself, "speaking of thoma, wonder what he's doing..i should check up on him" ayato said before heading out the door, he looked for thoma until he saw him,

"hmm, cleaning like always huh?" ayato said, and thoma flinched? 'huh? did i scare him?' ayato thought "o-of course it is my job anyways.." thoma said avoiding eye contact "why don't we take a break? we could hang out if you want?" ayato said knowing thoma wouldn't refuse.

"uhm i-i actually need to do something.." thoma said, "oh..? well alright, i guess i could hang out with itto instead." ayato said a little disappointed by the latter's answer, 'thoma has plans huh? that's a first..' ayato thought to himself,

thoma lied he didn't have any plans and he did wanna hang out with ayato, but if he wanted to stop these feelings then he had to avoid ayato at all cost.

a few minutes later ayato has already went out with itto leaving thoma all alone, "what am i gonna do..it was my chance to finally hang out with waka.." thoma said sniffling, 'i hate these feelings..!' thoma thought to himself while he has started crying again, "when will these feelings end..? he clearly has a better option..so why do i still feel like this.." thoma said sobbing..

"heyy!! how you've been doing ayato?" itto asked, "I've been doing good beside all the paperwork i had to do," ayato said in response, "awh that must suck.." itto spoke feeling bad for the other, "well how about you? are you together with that general already?"

ayato said grinning, "shhh! don't speak to loudly! but..no not yet.." itto said in response, "come on..when are you gonna confess!" ayato asked, "i will! IF you confess to that thoma guy!" itto said while ayato's face turned bright red.

"w-what are you talking about!? i don't like him like that." ayato said hiding his blushing face, "don't even deny it!" itto said knowing ayato has been inlove with thoma for quite awhile, "he probably doesn't like me back.."

ayato said sounding upset, "you'll never know!" "itto spoke "i guess.. but enough about love where do you want to go?" "ayato asked trying to change the subject, "hmm, well i found this new restaurant nearby?"

My poor baby thoma 😭😭 anyways hello po! this is an angsty fanfic about ayathoma i still don't know if it's gonna have an happy ending or i should torture you guys :)) but i hope you enjoyed this chapter
