two shots rang out

the farm was quiet
Shane was not he still didn't accept Randall
not after he helped us and even saved t-dogs life on a run

he had grown to be a valuable part of the group, he accompanied you Maggie and glen on runs and pulled his weight
it was early in the day, around four or five when you decided to fall asleep for a few minutes,

what a mistake you had made only snowballed in your mind

it was dark when you woke up,
Randall wasn't in the barn still
worried about him you waked to the house
"hey rick wheres Randall he's not in the barn"
he didn't know either,
you couldn't find Shane also

you ran to the barn and got the mare
your gun to, and went around the entire property
you found tracks leading to the woods, following you found Shane his nose busted

"he picked up a rock and hit me with it, took my gun and ran off"

"what did you do to him"
"i didnt-"
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO HIM SHANE"
you took your rifle of your back and pit it at his head
"he'll kill you, he took my gun"
"no he didn't"
"why do you think I'm lying"
"because i gave him mine"

"i'm not stupid when it comes to you Shane, i'm not Lori"
it was a single sentence they let him know how observant you were
how much attention to his careless errors, things that would have only been noticeable if you dug deep
like his attempts to kill rick and the small tuft of hair he was missing when Otis died

you brought down the stock over his head effectively knocking him out,
you rode through the woods looking for any sign of him

panic began to set in

"RANDALL"
"RANDALL"

you heard a stick break behind you
looking back it was just a walker
over a body cascaded my moonlight

but thats what caught your eye, if was him
he was one if them now he was dead

your heart was gone now, after you were finally happy
it was all gone
he was gone he was one of them

you sent your horse back to the barn running once you were off, you walked closer to him
as a tear fell from your face,
"Randall"

"this is my fault"
"i'm sorry"

"i love you"
something you had refrained from saying the entirety of having him around
you got behind the walker having one arm around him you held him close the other hand rested on the 45 on his waist
you took it behind his head and shot
a piece of you was gone now
one that bought out the caring side of you, or at least what was left

walking back to the barn in a panicked daze you could see rick and Shane in the distance as you found your horse,
Shane was on top of rick punching him, rick wasn't fairing to well as he wasn't as big as Shane
you knew why they were doing this

Shane had killed Randall and you would do the same

he looked at you and stoped what he was doing
rick also
you took the bayonet from your side and killed Shane effectively wedging the thick and dull steel blade in gut
"this is for Otis"
"and this is for Randall" you said in a breathless whisper in his ear turning the blade sideways in his intestines he looked at rick and fell backwards choking on his blood that pooled into his lungs

blood had spattered on you as he cried out on pain
you finished it
rick looking at you like you were insane
but also thankful you did it in a way
you lowered your hand which he took
glancing behind you your soul flickered

you had a calm look in your eyes and and it honestly scared rick
you walked your horse to the barn

you packed everything up as you seen the horde approaching, they hadn't seen you as they were going for Shane
you went to the house to tell them

"hershel you have to go, there's hundreds of them if not a thousand"
"i'm not leaving justice"
"yea we are, there's hundreds out there"
replied daryl

they fought as much as they could as you got to the barn unseen, and began sniping every walker you seen around the group
you covered them u till they made an escape
rick had mentioned a place to meet a week from now,
you could find it when you cleared the farm and buried Randall

you wasted no time taking them out
especially the ones near the barn

they wouldn't be able to get in yet

lucky you had boxes upon boxes of ammo and full cans
it took four and a half days to reclaim the farm,
but by then you were busy hauling and burning bodies,

you had been without anyone before
buy never like this
everything was hopeless

everyone left except you, you made sure

but there was no rick no carol no daryl to make you feel ok

you eventually finished
unaware of the day

the day to meet had been yesterday
you knew you had then lost your chance

until the sound of a loud engine was clear

you thought it was a simple hallucination

but it was real

someone had came back for you

but why

you should have died here,
