Backstory: Growing up she was spoiled and pampered by her mom and dad, they had good jobs, both of them being in the medical field, so expectations for her are high, but what made things harder was her growing up Chinese and black, kids are cruel, so if they weren't joking about her Asian-centric features then they were making fun of her hair or nose or whatever, which made her hate people, but there's one thing she did like, MOVIES, she fell in over with how movies can make any horrible Joe Schmoe look like an idol, how movies were simple, predictable but not stale, and how if she made movies she'd finally have control in her life. So she dedicated her life to movies. When she was 12 she made her first movie ' alligators come alive !!! ' which she regards as her most faithful work to this day. She finished high school excelling in her English and film classes and went to community college to study cinematography and film so she can be a director, of course her family isn't entirely supportive of this, he dad loves her for it but her mom thinks it's childish, that she should choose something a woman should do not a little girl. But she ignored the haters and keeps going. She works at a vintage styled cinema owned by some old guy who misses how professional theaters used to be, Mr. Goldstein makes all his workers dress in those little red suits with the red caps saying movie theaters lack presentation, she constantly takes notes from him whenever he talks about movies because she knows he knows a lot.
