FLASHBACK TO A FEW YEARS AGO...
A smiling toddler was happily drawing on the paper with a crayon, sitting on the carpet. That toddler was you.
After you finished, you giggled, staring down at the drawing, hoping your father would like it.
It was a drawing of your family which includes yourself, your parents, and your newborn baby brother. In the background was the house you all lived in except the one you drew is just a house with a triangle-shaped roof, two windows on the sides, and a vertical rectangular-shaped door on the bottom.
Full of excitement, you walked towards your father's office with your drawing in hand. You were eager to show it to him, hoping he would appreciate all the effort you put in it.
Your father is a foreigner who was born and raised in Japan while your mother is Japanese, also born and raised in Japan.
As you made your way to your father's office, you heard your parents arguing behind the door. The fight seemed to be getting more heated, so you stopped in your tracks and leaned in closer to the wall, trying to hear what they were saying. Your smile slowly disappeared.
'Mama and papa are arguing again...' You frowned, a sad look on your face. Sometimes they end up arguing over small things, but it does get more heated when they argue over big things.

In the very past, Gray Evans was an ordinary man who was once a good person. He had manners, was extremely respectful and was a shy person. That's why Yua Tohsaki (Your mother) fell in love with him and not just because of his good looks.
Yua Tohsaki was born rich and is the rightful heir of the Saki clan. But instead of acting like the rich woman she is, she was a nerd who always enjoys reading books and studying.
They fell in love since childhood until adulthood. Yua loved him so much because he was such a good man. That's why, she requested her clan to make him the second leader of the clan, not knowing that it would be something she would deeply regret in the future.
Even if there should only be one leader and the leader should be full-blooded Japanese, somehow she was able to convince them. However, some members still didn't approve of him.
When he became the second leader, he stared to change and became selfish ever since then.

"How could you do such thing?!" Gray shouted at his wife.
"I told you, I didn't cheat on you! That photo is fake!" She shouted back, more tears started to roll down her face.
"Lies! Aimi would never lie to me!"
"You believe your mistress more than me, your wife? Why do you always believe her over me?!"
"Oh, I don't know. Maybe because the photo is true?!" He said sarcastically, his voice still raising.
"You speak of me cheating on you yet you do the same! You're the one cheating on-" Before she could finish her sentence, her husband fiercely struck her in the face. She stumbled backwards in shock. Her foot accidentally hit the glass table, sending a loud crashing sound as the cups shattered to the ground.
Your eyes widened once you heard it that your body suddenly began to move, running and entering the office.
You looked at the sight, fear spreading across your face. Your father only stayed still in surprise, frozen in his place.
"LEAVE MAMA ALONE!" You yelled, rushing to her side as she sank to the ground. You hugged her tightly, tears streaming down your face as you begged him to stop. His expression softened for a moment before he glared, looking down at you.
"You're just like your mother. Useless and weak."
He strode towards the door, his foot crushing a drawing of your family that laid on the floor.
FLASHBACK END
Your eyes quickly opened as you sat upright in your bed in the middle of the night, panting heavily and wide-eyed.
'That dream...' You gritted your teeth in frustration, remembering the painful memories. You pulled your hair back, holding your temple firmly. 'That wretched man...how dare he treat mother, his wife, that way...'
Your eye twitched, getting even more upset. 'How could mother allow herself to be vulnerable to the likes of him? How could she still love and cherish a man who hurts her?!'
Yua's love for him was too strong.

You strolled through the school halls with a look of misery and tiredness. But thankfully, your clothes were properly worn this time and not messy...
A couple of girls suddenly cornered you out of nowhere. You only raised your brow at them rather than saying anything.
" ♡ Your new song is beautiful, Y/N-kun!! ♡" said by one of the young ladies. You let out a little smile.
"Thanks."
" ♡ Ahh! I love your songs! ♡ "
"What music will you release next? If it's not too much trouble, please tell us!"
You kept your poker face on, smiling softly at them as they spouted and posed more inquiries. Though you were distressed in the inside. Those bad dreams actually torment you once in a while and regardless of whether you attempt to ignore them, it is troublesome.
"Are these love songs for somebody you like?" Another asked, grinning. You glanced at them and shook your head.
"I'm not looking for a relationship right now...I just enjoy love songs for the time being," You stated, not wanting to let them know that you didn't really get to pick the songs you sing sometimes so you had to lie in the last part, the part where you enjoy love songs for the time being. You weren't actually interested in love songs.
"But you said you weren't looking for a relationship, then why do you like love songs?"
"We can like love songs without wanting or being in a relationship," You addressed once more.
As the others continued to ask questions and give compliments, a girl managed to push through the crowd. Suddenly, that girl grabbed your arm that you flinched, looking back to see who it was.
"Can we talk? Privately?"
