Rips and taters in the magic of time

Smiles and laughter covers mine

Cricks and cracks all up the stairs

Nothing here is truly theirs

For it is all very bright

On a dark sullen night

When childrens laughter breaks through

Wreaking the ground dew

The running feet make loud noise

For there will be much joy

When the game they play

The mind begins to stray

No, remember the times smiles won

Remeber the times you smile upon

Stay from the places tears fall

Do not bring the pain to recall

The stars in the sky

The world at a standby

For nights remembering hide and seek

Bring soft dreams

For nights remembering harsh critique

Bring no sleep

Remember the good, Forget the bad

Sleep now, dear child
