Hafu and 5up walked down the stairs in the morning, both fully dressed. Hafu was wearing long overalls with a yellow shirt, her hair falling short to her shoulders. 5up wore a pink sweater, with some skinny jeans.

"Tubbo! Come on!" Hafu yelled. "We don't want to be late," she called up to her youngest brother. Their parents had died in a car crash at the end of the school year, the twins' junior year. The end of Tubbos 8th grade. Now Tubbo was 14 and going into high school and the twins were 17, going into their last year.

The three had moved in with their grandparents, who lived in Texas. Speaking of the devils, Tillie and Mason came out from their bedroom.

"Are you both ready?" Tillie asked and 5up shrugged a little bit. He was probably the most resentful for being here.

"New school, new place, no friends. Senior year. Why couldn't we have just finished up our year with a friend? Back in Vegas?" 5up asked and Mason sighed, giving 5up a pity full look.

"Because, your father was our son and we loved his wife dearly. Losing them has been hard, and being with family helps," Mason explained and then beckoned the kids forward. "Come here you two," he said.

The twins shared confused glances before stepping towards their grandparents. Moving in sync, both Tillie and Mason took off the necklaces that they always wore. Tillie stepped towards Hafu, and Mason placed his key around 5ups' neck.

The keys were nothing super out of the ordinary. Both keys were identical in shape but their colors were different. Both keys hung on silver chains, and had a sparking base. Or what used to be sparking, now it just seemed to be old and the twins highly doubted they even belonged to anything.

Hafu had a golden base, and 5up had a silver one. The top parts, that looked like the part of a plunger you stuck in a clogged toilet, were different. Hafu had a black top, while 5up had a light pink, nearly matching his sweater identically.

In each key there was a single stone, located near the top of the top parts. 5ups was a dark green that seemed to shimmer with the light. And Hafus was blue, matching the color of her overalls.

"What are these for?" 5up asked, looking confused. The question has been asked many times, but never explained.

"You'll see soon enough," Tillie said and then Tubbo came bounding down the stairs. "Now get going, we don't want you to be late," she said and ushered the children out of the house.

David had barely finished unpacking his stuff, and school started that day. He grabbed whatever clothes he could find. It happened to be a blue hoodie from his old school. He moved from one area of Texas to another, and he really wished he didn't have to.

His parents had gotten divorced, his dad took everything. So his mother packed up and took David to her parents house, where he felt even more alone now than ever before.

"David! Are you ready?" His mothers voice rang up from downstairs. He sighed, and his hand instinctively closed around the key necklace he wore. His grandmother had given it to him, after his grandfather's untimely death a few years ago.

The key had a bronze base, rusted and looking like it was unusable. A light blue plunger looking top with a black stone on it. He never understood what it was for, but right now he was glad for it.

He headed downstairs and saw his mom and his grandmother sitting at the table, talking happily. The dream he had came rushing back to him, and he saw a glimpse of one of the pictures hanging on the wall. His grandmother, when she was the same age as in the dream, was standing with the same group.
