CHASE POV
the buzzing sound from brandons phone woke me up. someone was calling him.
"can you pick it up please?" brandon mumbled.
"yeah sure"
i picked up his phone seeing sarrah's name on the screen. i decided to answer the phone.
"hi babe"
babe??? what was going on. i felt the strength leaving my knees.
"hello?" i said
"oh sorry i didn't know he had guests over. tell brandon i have to talk to him when he's free" and she hung up.
why would sarrah call brandon babe? i knew they broke up months ago.
"brandon what the fuck."
"whats going on?"
"oh nothing its just sarrah just called you babe."
"she what?"
"i dont know ask her, i mean shes your babe after all."
i started getting dressed.
"wait chase, are you leaving?"
"yeah what else am i supposed to do?"
"no wait! i dont know why she would call me that i haven't even talked to her for months. i dont know whats going on."
"i dont care."
"wait brandon let me call her to see whats going on." brandons voice sounded concerned.
"fine." i was so angry and sad at the same time.
brandon took his phone to call sarrah.
"im gonna put her on speaker."
he rang the phone.
"hello?"
"hi babe" she said it again.
"what the fuck did you just call me?"
"babe. dont you like that?"
"what the fuck no i dont like that"
"but you liked it when i called you babe the other day"
"what the fuck are you even talking about sarrah?"
"you know exactly what im talking about."
"what is wrong with you?"
"what is wrong with me? you said you loved me then slept with someone and ask me what is wrong with me? you know what? we're done brandon."
"we weren't even together what are you talking about?"
and sarrah hung up.
i got up and started to leave.
"wait no chase! i dont know whats going on trust me! please i would never get with sarrah."
"and am i supposed to believe that???" my voice started shaking. "be serious brandon im not a little kid that you can lie to. you know what? i dont even care anymore. i thought you changed! you did not. once a player always always a player."
