EXTRA 5 - “If your eyes are just a decoration, you should donate them for someone who needs them.”

First there was Jiang DeXian’s profession of love, accredited his glory to her; then there was Jiang WenYu handing her his trophy in person.

Who wouldn’t be envious of a life like that?

They were all about her age. They may appear glamorous on the outside but, they needed to tread on thin ice, day in and day out, to take care of all their husbands’ other lovers and to watch out for children born out of the wedlock competing over their inheritance.

Then, looking back at Fang JunRong, many of them made fun of her when she was foolish enough to have divorced Li WangJin for something as trivial as him having an affair and opening the spot for the third person to step in voluntarily.

Then, they watched as Fang JunRong became prettier and prettier and went farther and farther, to a height that they could only look up on.

On top of all of that, she had a little fresh meat chasing after her. That was certainly the ideal life that all of them could only dream of.

While being envious of Fang JunRong, another idea also occurred to them: Days after a divorced didn’t seem as bad as they had imagined.

Fang JunRong, who only came as the icing-on-the-cake presenter had, somehow, turned into the center of attention.

The MVP at the entire venue.

The People of the Year Award was the final event, with one more consolation prize event after it , before the end of the award ceremony.

There was a banquet after the award ceremony. Most everyone, whether they had won a prize or not, would choose to stay.

After all, none of the nominees today were peons but were all who had a certain level of accomplishments in their respective fields.

This was a great opportunity to network.

The celebrities, too, chose to stay. Their path would be much smoother if they could only befriend a couple of people here.

Fang JunRong did not head straight to the banquet but to have her makeup artist redo her makeup for her.

She had on a heavier makeup earlier as she knew she would be seen by many. Now she will switch to a lighter makeup to accentuate her nice skin.

There was a knock at the door and Fang JunRong’s assistant went to answer it. Standing outside the door was Jiang DeXian. With a trophy in his hand, he smiled and he looked like an elegant gentleman walking straight out of some manga. “May I come in?”

Fang JunRong’s makeup was already completed by now. Smiling, she asked, “Are you here to pick me up? Wenyu will be coming over in a little bit as well.”

She might have said it out openly but Jiang DeXian was already indescribably jealous.

Lucky he had come over, else Jiang WenYu would have one upped him. Jiang WenYu might not have noticed it yet but Jiang DeXian wasn’t foolish enough to remind him and create a strong opponent for himself.

He smiled tenderly. “I am here to give you my trophy.”

Fang JunRong, after being taken aback a little, smiled. “I am going to need a display room when I get home then.” She had two himself.

Now she had four, including the ones from Jiang WenYu and Jiang DeXian.

Jiang DeXian walked into the dressing room and pushed Jiang WenYu’s trophy further away while placing his where it was, leaving it closer to Fang JunRong.
