(Sakaar, Loki's POV)
I don't know where the hell I am but I love this place.
Wining, dining, partying. Girls wherever I look.
I could get used to this.
"There was a wormhole right beneath me," I say to the brunette clinging to my arm. "A wormhole in space and time. I saw it and, at that moment, I just let go."
"Psst!" Comes a sound from somewhere across the room. "Psst! Loki!"
No.
Dear god no.
Why him? He's no fun and he ruins everything.
"Loki! It's me! Over here!"
I laugh slightly awkwardly at my company, "Would you excuse me, just for one second?"
I don't wait for a reply, just extract myself from her talons and politely squeeze through people to get to the nuisance.
Yes. I asked politely.
"You're alive?" I hiss at him as I reach where he sits strapped in a chair.
"Well of course I'm alive," Thor says with a relieved smile.
"What are you doing here?"
"What do you mean, what am I doing? Clearly I'm stuck in this stupid chair. Where's your chair?"
"I didn't get a chair."
"Well get me out of this one."
"What? I can't."
"Why not?"
"I made a friend, brother. He says his name is the Grandmaster."
"No! He's crazy!"
"Thor, I gained his favour. The Bifrost brought me out here weeks ago."
"What? How? I just got here."
"Time works very differently around here," we both jump slightly at the sound of a voice.
The Grandmaster himself has approached us, curious as to what we're discussing.
"But anyway, Loki? You know this..... What is it? Lord of Thunder?"
"It's God. God of Thunder. Tell him Loki."
Eh.
I turn to the Grandmaster, "I've never met this man in my life."
"He's my brother."
"I'm adopted."
"Is he any kind of a fighter?" He points at Thor.
I shrug and offer, "Could be better but sure. He likes to call himself one anyway."
"Take this stupid thing out my neck and I'll show you," Thor bangs against his chair.
"Now listen to that. He's threatening me," Grandmaster smiles at me then looks at Thor. "Hey, Sparkles, here's the deal. If you wanna get back to Ass-place, Assberg-"
"Asgard."
"Sure. Whatever. Any contender who defeats my champion will win their freedom."
"Fine. Then point me in the direction of whoever's ass I need to kick."
"Yes! We have a contender! Alright, be right back."
He hurries away, practically skipping with joy.
Probably to arrange the forthcoming match.
"Loki!"
I ignore his desperate calls as he's wheeled away by two guards and I return to the party.
He only wants me when he's in trouble.
Not this time thank you very much.
I deserve some fun.
