Chapter 14

„Secrets i have held in my heart" „Are harder to hide then i thought" „Maybe i just wanna be yours" Atsumu, Osamu and Aran sang.

„You guys have real talents." Y/n said while wheezing. Suna, next to Y/n, laughed while recording the whole thing. „Whatever, what do you guys plan for the weekend?" Y/n asked Atsumu and Osamu.

They stopped singing and looked at Y/n. „Oh, we tought we will just hang out outside for a bit and then go inside and play some games." Atsumu said while looking at his brother. Osamu nodded in agreement. „Okay, cool. I tought you planned to crash someone's birthdayparty..." Y/n said, whispering the last part that only Suna could hear.

He snorted and nodded in agreement. Sunas phone rang and he looked at the caller ID. „Uh, i need to take that. Be right back." he said. Only Y/n noticed that he was nervous. He walked out of the cafeteria and walked outside.

The twins looked at the direction where Suna went but then started fighting again about girls with short hair or long hair. Aran just looked at the two fighting but then started arguing too. Was Y/n the only one who noticed that Suna panicked?

„I'll be right back" Y/n muttered while going out of the cafeteria. She searched Suna but didn't find him. She decided to go outside. Hoping he would be outside. She got outside and saw Suna with another girl. She looked around the same age as Suna.

Y/n decided to listen to their conversation. „I heard you're now hanging out with this Y/n girl." the girl said. Suna only nodded. „I want you to stay away from her." the girl said. „What?" Suna said. „Yes. I don't like her. Be happy that you're allowed to hang out with this stupid twins." the girl said.

„Shenaya. Just because you're my girlfriend it doesn't mean you can tell me with who i can hang out and with who not." Suna said. The girl- in this case Shenaya slapped him. „I said stay away from her. I'm gonna leave now. And if i hear that you're still with her i'll make sure she's gonna be hurt." Shenaya said while turning around.

Y/n saw how Shenaya got into a car and drove away. She just saw Suna standing there. She made sure no one saw her and ran over to Suna. Y/n cupped his face and looked at it. It had a red mark because of the slap. „Y/n..." Suna said, shocked. „Come with me." Y/n said while grabbing his hand. She took Suna to the nurse but she told the nurse she could handle it herself.

She took an icebag (i'm sorry i don't know what you use against a slap 😭) and hold it against Sunas face. „Okay so, explain. This was your girlfriend, right?" Y/n asked Suna while looking into his beautiful eyes. He nodded slowly. „Y/n, i guess you heard everything. I'm sorry but i don't wanna get you hurt so we... we need to break our contact..." Suna said, looking at the ground.

„No. Our friendship means a lot to me. Even if they're gonna hurt me. Hey, shit happens. I even had beaten the ass of like three guys because they couldn't leave me alone." Y/n said. Suna laughed lightly. „Still, i don't wanna see you hurt because of me." Suna said. „Then they're gonna hurt me because of me." Y/n said, stroking Sunas cheek.

When she realised what she did she quickly took her hand away. „Y/n, you don't know what Shenaya does when she means ‚hurting' you. She's a monster." Suna said. „Then why are you dating her?" Y/n asked. „My mom likes her. Shenaya's the one that tells everything to my mom and then my mom beats my ass." Suna said. „You sure she's your girlfriend?" Y/n asked.

„She never was" Suna said. Sunas state broke Y/ns heart. Suna was always the type of making jokes and whatever. He mostly didn't care about things. But now? He was broken. He almost cried. „Y/n. In these days you turned into someone really important to me. I hate seeing the people that are important to me hurt." Suna said. Y/n embraced him into a hug.

„I promised you. I will be here no matter what. I will stand by your side. This is what friends are here for." Y/n said. „Thank you..." Suna said, hugging Y/n back.

Suna pov

Flashback

A girl fell on the ground. Everyone laughed at her. I rushed to her and helped her up. „Are you alright?" I asked worried. „Yeah, sure. Thank you." the girl smiled at me. She had blonde hair and green eyes. „What's your name?" i asked.

„Shenaya Momo" the girl answered. „You?" she asked me. „Suna Rintarou" i said. „Hm, the name suits you" she said while smiling at me brightly. „Wanna eat together at lunch?" i asked. „Uh, sure. If i don't bother." Shenaya said. „No, you don't!" i said. She chuckled lightly.

„I need to go. Class should start soon" she said. „See you at lunch!" i said. I guess i made a new friend. i tought.

After classes i waited for her by the entrance door. She came there too and grabbed my hand. „Let's go to the rooftop?" Shenaya asked. I nodded and she took me with her. She opened her bento box. „Mhh! My mom made me onigiris!" she said beaming. I chuckled and opened my bento box. She looked into my bento box. „Ouhh! Those are delicious!" Shenaya smiled at me.

She started eating her lunch and started talking to me. „What's your favourite animal?" „Fox" i answered. „Those are pretty interesting animals, aren't they? My favourite animal is a dog." She said smiling at me.

Time went by pretty fast. I actually had fun with her. „Let's be best friends!" she said before we went to our classes. I wasn't sure what to say but nodded. „How cool! See you after classes, Rin!" She said and i blushed lightly.

I was such an idiot to help her up. I wish i just laughed at her too. I wish i never was there for that second she fell. I wish i never ever met her at all.

An: This last sentence over me giving me Nelly Furtado Maneater vibes 😭 Fun fact, today i wasn't that tired like always and my mother said „It's because you sleep more than usual." *cough* not me reading fanfictions into the middle of the night. 🤠🔪
