I don't trust a lot, but I think I trust you

The first time I saw him I felt mixed emotions. He had dimples on the side of his face every time he dared to smile, eyes shiny with a burning passion I hate to say it but... I think I like him

I keep to myself, but I'm crazy as well
And I know I don't know a lot about you

But, I'll give you my time if you give me your mind

I stared at him as the song played, he was standing far away from me sitting, and horsing around with his friends. Meanwhile I sat down alone to stare at him when he wasn't paying attention.

You feel so brand new, like I've never felt this before
I thought I found love, but I'm always left wanting more

I looked away right in time before he could catch me staring. I didn't realize he sat beside me until the class started filling up and the teacher arrived to tell us about group work "hey do you mind if I partner up with you? my friend left me for his girlfriend" his familiar deep voice said taking me out of my daydream. I nodded "where do you want to meet to finish it?" I asked timidly "is mine okay?" he asked and I nodded again "sweet let's meet during the 4 day weekends to do homework then since it's a long week-end" he said and I hummed in response with the butterfly feeling again.

So can we skip the small talk and go straight to our dreams?

We met the next day at his house, where he lived with his friends. They started teasing him once I told them I came to see him, their oldest had to shoo them away himself, chuckling when he bid us goodbye and we got out to a nearby cafe. It then became our tradition, we started hanging out more, and became friends. Then he confessed, and I accepted

So meet me when the sun's out, we can talk all about you and me

Time flies so fast. Here I'm in our house waiting for him to come to announce the big news I've been hiding for 4 months now. He teared up and swung me in the air excitedly "I'm so happy we're gonna be a family" he said as I laughed heartily. Life is full of unexpected surprises and we still have a lot to learn about each other.

Take a right on front street, I'll be underneath the sycamore tree...
