Baby's First Swim Lesson

Diaper incident

I awoke, nice and early, to the smell of breakfast. Pancakes and bacon.

I got out of bed, usually I would change out of my PJs so that mom wouldn't see my underwear, but I remembered what happened yesterday. I walked down with pants drooping, showing the world my kiddish undies.

I rubbed my eyes as I walked into the kitchen

"Morning honey!" She looked at me smiling

"Morning mommy" I said then paused

My mom and I looked at each other, she smiled brighter

"I haven't heard you call me mommy in a while" she said with a warm feeling in her heart

I blushed

"Sorry we don't have any of the baby stuff that Cody has, so you'll have to sit in a big boy chair" she told me

"Aww" I said

She smiled sympathetically at me

When breakfast was ready she served herself and me. I got chocolate chip pancakes!

"How did you feel about yesterday?" She asked as she pulled my pants up

I blushed but found the courage to tell the truth "I had a lot of fun" we smiled at each other

"I'm glad" she said "in that case, since we don't have a bib for you, how about I feed you your pancakes so you don't make a mess"

"Ok" I said as she cut up my pancakes for me and placed each piece in my mouth. When I was chewing she would feed herself.

"Oh, I'm sorry baby, I'm not able to pick you up from swimming, I can drop you off but I have to split right after" she told me

"Ok" I said

When we both finished she wiped my sticky face with a wet rag.

"Mommy, I need to go potty" I said

"Sure thing sugar, pee pee or poopy?" She asked

"Pee pee"

"Ok" she guided me to the potty. Then she pulled down my pants and undies to my ankles, she held my hips, making sure I didn't fall, as I held my shirt up and peed into the potty.

When I finished she patted my butt and praised me. "Great job buddy!" She said ruffling my hair. She pulled my pants and underwear back up and helped me wash my hands. "Alright, we have some time before I drop you off at swim lessons, what do you want to do?" She asked me

"Can we watch Bluey?" I asked

"Isn't that the show that Cody likes?" She asked

"Yes" I said

"Sure," she said turning on the tv.

"Could you drop me off a little early for swim practice? Cody gets there early" I said partially wanting to avoid Dom as well

"Sure sugar" she said

We watched the show together for a while before mom had to start work on her computer.

"Alright bud, if you need anything come get me, until then you can keep watching if you'd like. Or you have your video games and your phone" she told me

"Ok" I said. I had a fun time watching the show. When I first watched it I wasn't sure about it, but the more I watched the more I liked it.

Eventually it was time to go to swim lessons.

I pouted as mom packed my bag.

"What's wrong baby?" She asked

"I don't like swim practice" I said crossing my arms.
