As we all supposedly know, Giran works for the league as a scouting person who recruits new members for the LoV.As Shigaraki had called Giran to meet up to talk about finding members to join the league, he had also planned on letting Giran meet Deku as he is the first person to join by the help of All for One. (Take note this is before Deku made his first appearance and he had been training with AfO and Dr Ujiko for quite a while now.)
As Giran entered the base, he noticed a green haired boy sitting at the bar counters, he was confused but even before he could greet or even talk to the boy, Shigaraki appeared and had called Giran.
Shigaraki also called the "green haired boy" that Giran saw and introduced him to Giran. As Giran is now catched up, he was stunned that Shigaraki's first choice as the League of Villains first member would be a literal teen. He found it hilarious and quite stupid at that.
"Are you seriously taking in children into this organization? I thought you had high expectations for these members but having a little child as your first also shows hoe desperate you are for members, Shigaraki" Giran said as he looked at Shigaraki holding back his laughter .
"The 'child' isn't as bad. Master picked him up for me so it is only given if I have my trust put into this 'child' as Master was the one who introduced him to me. I don't doubt my masters wishes and if he thinks that this child is great then i just need to learn to accept him in" said Shigaraki.

"Agh! Let go already kid!" Giran said as Deku holds his hand even tighter. Deku looked at each other and Giran saw the pire frustration Deku had in his eyes. After a few seconds of pure pain Deku let go of Giran making him almost face planting the base floors. "Where the heck did All for One got this kid from?! He's crazy skilled" Giran thought to himself.
"I'm Deku" said the green haired boy. Giran still dumbfounded and is still on the floor looking up at him. Deku held his hand out and Giran gladly took. He thought Deku was asking for a handshake but he was actually helping him to get him back up on his feet.
As Giran is now standing up, Deku stand infront of him and bowed to him. "Sorry for my rude behavior earlier" he said. Giran was still in shocked but as deku stands straight again, he gave a glance to Shigaraki. Shigaraki noticed and gave Giran a thought smirk. "I knew I could trust my Master" he thought.
As Giran looked back at Deku he held his hand out and requested a hand shake to him. Deku took his hand and they both shaked hands quote firmly. "I'm excited to see what else you could do, Deku. Can't wait to work with you." Giran said. Deku looked at him questioning the man in his thoughts until Giran broke into his thoughty mind. "Giran. Nice to meet you kid" Giran said, whilst still holding Dekus hand. "Yeah.." Deku replied.
