Deciding it wouldn't be a good idea Mei doesn't accomplishes her friends with the Sully training.
Sticking to her original plans she collects anything useful to make a piece of clothing for Ronals soon to be born baby.

Mei swims to the bottom of the ocean and grabs a shell, it was purple at the edge and going lighter to the other side. The shell was to big for a clothing designed for a baby, but maybe she can make her mother something nice out of it or Tsireya.

(this is how the shell is supposed to look)

Placing the shell in her pouch she swims further into deep water. Having enough for today she sees Tsireya showing Tuk and Kiri the animals who helps them to stay longer underwater. Tsireya notices Mei and waves her over but Mei shooks her head and signs 'I have to go back to my mother'. Nodding sadly Tsireya turns back to Tuk, giving her a confused look at the lack of the second Sully girl. Tuk points in the direction Kiri went and Tsireya nods swimming after Kiri.

Going back for air Mei calls her Ilu Zhao. As she goes back to the village she disconnects her queue from her ilu and starts walking to her marui, where she would start making the clothing. Almost reaching home she hears her name being called, turning around she sees Neteyam coming her way.

"What are doing right now?" he asks as he reaches her. "I was going to make few clothings for Ronals baby and maybe Tsireya with the things I found today." showing him the shells in her bag he reaches in and pulls the purple shell out. "what are you making out of this one?" he asks. Mei thought.
what could she make with this? Neteyam waited patiently for her answer. "I don't know yet. Maybe I make something for my mother, purple suits her." she says looking down at the shell in his hands.

Neteyam thought about it for a moment before placing his hand on Meis shoulder and turning her around so her back faces him.
"What are doing?" Mei couldn't stop the giggle leaving her lips.
"Just trust me and stand still" he says.

Nodding Mei stops moving around and stands.

Neteyam ties the shell in her braid, midst her head. Slowly walking in a circle around her he admires his work and comes to a stand before her.

"Purple suits you too."

Looking at each other Neteyam moves on hand up to her face and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear "You look beautiful" he whispers. Mei looks down, she didn't want Neteyam to see her red face.
Until this moment Neteyam never thought he could have any effect on her but as he saw the blush coating her cheeks he was sure she liked him at least a little bit.

"Thank you."

"Meiyíng!"

Their moment was cut short as Meis mother imarged from the beach, she was probably on the way to her marui when she stumbled upon her daughter and one of the foreigners. She didn't like them. They didn't belong here, especially right in front of her marui.
Adding to her anger Meiyíng stood really close to him, too close.
