Aonung's POV:

I'm such a coward...

Why couldn't I do it?

I was the best fighter in the whole clan

I could have taken that guy down with ease

What's wrong with me?

Why couldn't I throw a punch back...?

I don't know...

I don't care.

I continued to walk

I don't even know where I was walking. I just needed a break

Now that I think of it, I sounded like a pussy saying that

A break?

I'm not even chief yet, and I can't handle this

I ended up walking to a small ledge on the northern side of the island

It was a long drop

I gulped in fear, looking over at the vicious waved

The rocks below weren't exactly sharp, but they would definitely leave some serious injuries if you fell.

I stared at the gloomy hole for a moment longer before closing my eyes and sighing

I hated this place so much. It reminded me of just how shit life was

I opened my eyes, looking back down at the drop

Suddenly, a wave of peace passed through me

It felt like everyone didn't hate me for a second

Like I was good enough

I sat down, my legs hanging in front of me

This cliff was so weak, I wouldn't be surprised if it snapped off right now

But it's not like I cared

It's not like anyone would care if I fell...

I sat there, just me and my thoughts

I took in everything around me

The waves crashing below, the animals around me chirping in happiness, the sun slowly fading

Upon opening my eyes again, I realised it was eclipse

How long was I sitting here for?

Doesn't matter

I lied back, stretching my arms out above my head

I stared up at the sky, watching the stars slowly moving

I never noticed how beautiful the sky was

Suddenly, I heard shouting

I paid no attention to it at first, but my ears perked up hearing my name

"Aonung! Are you out here?" I heard a voice call, approaching me

I rolled my eyes, sitting up and sighing

"Over here!" I called back, putting my arm up to signal where I was

'Probably just another warrior my parents sent to find me' I thought to myself, looking down at the rocks again

"Aonung?" The voice softly said, getting closer

"What? Did my parents send you?" I asked, annoyed that they sent another search party

"Yes, they did. Everyone is looking for you" The voice replied, almost in a whisper

"Well, I'm here aren't I? Now leave me alone" I snapped at him, refusing to look up at the mysterious Na'vi
