"You ready?" ddot asked me
"Yeah I have no choice." I sighed
"Come on." He grabbed my arm pullin me in the livin room where my mama was sittin
"Mama we gotta talk to you." I said sittin on the couch across from her
ddot sat next to me
"Wassup yall?" She asked turnin all her attention to us
"Umm what I'm about to tell you please don't start freaki-"
"You pregnant ain't ya." She cut me off
"Yeah." I mumbled
"What the hell Nalani." She sighed rubbin her face
"Was y'all not usin protection?"
Me and ddot looked at each other
"Uh we did regularly but I guess we slipped up one time." He said
"I'm sorry." I whispered
"It's okay baby I'm not mad at you just a little disappointed but I'm here for you okay?" She said
Tears filled my eyes
"Okay."
"Come here." She said reachin her arms out
I stood up walkin up to her leaning into her arms
"Everything will be okay." She said rubbin my arm
I sat up wipin my eyes
"What's yall plans?"
"I wanna keep it." I said
"You want that ddot?" She asked him
"I'm with whatever she want." He said
"Alright I'll set a doctor appointment up for you to confirm everything and make sure stuff good okay?"
I nodded my head
"Alright I'm gonna go get ready for work I'll see you later Darrian." She stood up heading upstairs to her room
"I think she took that well." ddot said
"I'm surprised she did." I said lookin at him crazy
