Fitz's POV
After going about halfway into the movie, Sally called us for dinner and Percy practically ran from the room. The meal that Sally prepared looked more like a feast instead of just a regular meal.
"This looks great!" I exclaimed, salivating at the thought of eating it. She just laughed and tried to put Estelle in her seat. She kept flailing around but slowly stopped as she saw the food. We all sat down and piled food onto our plates.
Sally nodded, busy putting some food onto Estelle's high chair and getting herself some food. We ate in silence for a bit, with just the clanking of our forks and Estelle crying for food filling in the silence.
We finished our meal with Annabeth and Percy telling us all of their adventures, which I had to admit were a lot more dangerous than our adventures.
Annabeth was just through explaining what it was like getting ready to protect Olympus when Sally brought out the desserts which consisted of apple pie, homemade ice cream, brownies, and cookies, which she managed to hold in two hands.
I could see that Percy was already getting out spoons for everyone, looking even happier than before. As soon as all the things were on the table Percy quickly grabbed a little bit of everything before anyone could reach for something.
"What?" he asked, already devouring a cookie, "Fast reflexes. What do you think helps keep me alive in battle?"
Not knowing what to say to that I quickly grabbed a brownie slice and after taking the first bite I was tempted to grab the rest of them. It looked like everyone else had the same idea except for Sally and Estelle. Sally was feeding her a little bit of hamburger meat.
"I swear Estelle eats more than Charlie!" We all laughed at that and everyone grabbed seconds.
We all finished up and bade goodnight to Estelle as Sally brought her up for bedtime.
"Do you want to finish Aquaman?" Percy suggested, grabbing everyone's dishes and putting them in the dishwasher.
"Sure," I replied, leaning back in my chair. We went into the theater and had it play until it finished. We walked upstairs and said goodnight to Percy and Annabeth and we went into our rooms.
"Can't wait for school tomorrow," Sophie said, hopping in bed, "I can't even remember the last time I went to a regular school." I hopped on the bed and we lay there for a bit, talking about what we should do tomorrow.
Eventually, I kissed Sophie goodnight and I fell asleep.
"Good morning," Sophie yawed, stretching as the sun filtered through the blinds. I sat up and saw that she had already changed and was proceeding to open the blinds.
"You realize it's already 7:00?" she asked pulling up the last blind, "Our school starts at 8:00!"
"Ok, no need to freak out, I'll be coming downstairs in a few." She went downstairs and after throwing on some clothes I followed her downstairs.
As soon as I was halfway down the stairs I smelt pancakes being made. I immediately quickened my pace and was in the kitchen in a second.
"Yessssssssss!" I practically screamed sliding a foot and almost hitting the table. Already laid out were cinnamon rolls and pancakes that were for some reason blue.
"You must really like the letter S," joked Percy, as I slid into my seat.
I just shrugged it off and grabbed some pancakes and a cinnamon roll.
"So why are these pancakes blue?" I asked, grabbing a couple more pancakes. (They were really good.)
"A reminder of my annoying stepfather who got turned into stone," Percy said getting up and grabbing Annabeth's dishes and putting both in the sink.
I nodded, chewing the cinnamon roll, which was probably the best thing I had ever tasted.
"You guys should probably get going," Sally said suddenly bringing down Estelle, who was smiling from ear to ear, "It's already 8:20."
Both Annabeth and Sophie shot me a warning look and I was upstairs in a spilt second. I brushed my teeth real quick and then grabbed my backpack which was full of school supplies.
Everyone else was ready, all of them waiting for me. We went into the car, where I braced myself for Percy's driving. In less than 30 seconds flat he was out of the driveway and swerving onto the street.
"When did you learn to drive like a maniac?" Sophie asked, getting thrown against the side as he made a sharp turn.
"Well, when you're always getting chased by a monster you learn to drive as quick as you can since something's probably chasing you," he swerved into the parking lot and stopped in one of the spots.
We got out of the car and headed up toward the steps where there was a group of kids streaming in toward the building.
"Here are your schedules," Annabeth said, handing me and Sophie the papers. It looked like all of us had math, PE, and Greek with each other. Almost immediately as we stepped in a girl practically flung herself toward us.
"Who are your new friends?" she asked, directing her question to Percy.
"Sophie and Fitz," Annabeth interrupted, "Now if you'll get out of our way we have places to go. Nice seeing you, Harper." She set off at a brisk pace with Harper staring at us with shock. We all quickly caught up to Annabeth who was busy putting some things into her locker.
"What did she do to you?" I asked shoving some things into my locker.
"She's a jerk," she replied grabbing her stuff and we headed toward math. Percy shot me a warning look and I shut up and we headed down the hall. We passed so many kids along the hall who said hello I forgot everyone's names after the 30th kid.
It seemed like Percy and Annabeth were the popular kid and only Harper and her little gang hated them.
We stopped at a plain oak door labeled: MATH. Percy opened the door for everyone and we filed into the classroom.
