New Faces New Team

Octavia 

It's finally been nice to come home after being away from Pittsburgh for a while, I'm excited to be back at the Abby lee dance company I hope I'm not the only one that's coming back from the OG's. "Ready sweetie?" Mom asked as I put my dance stuff in the car "Yeah ready as always." smiling at her

"Do you think Lily will be back?" she asked "Hopefully but if she's not then it's just going to be me then." shrugging my shoulders "She's coming back Stacey texted me which is good and if theres any drama with the moms I'll just let it go unless it's at you then I'll step in." Mom told me

"Good I know you rarely got into arguments but let's just hope theres no issue with the others." I told her as we pull into the parking lot "Did you bring a spare jumper since I know you and Lily will have to bring give yours back?" Mom asked "Yeah I did." holding it up making her laugh

Once I grab my dance bag smiling as we walk inside "Morning Miss Abby." smiling at her "Morning guys how about you put your bag in the den and begin stretching." she told me "Of course."

"Octavia is one of the best dancers I've ever taught and seen in a long time. She became the new Maddie the moment I saw her first solo up against the junior elite competition team, Octavia got better and better it's rare that Maddie ever got beaten and Octavia did it. So this season I'm going to challenge her bigger tricks harder dances." Abby said with a smile on her face

Walking into the den we all introduced ourselves and the moment I met GiaNina I wasn't a fan she gave me the spoiled brat impression but then there is Brady he's cute like really cute. "Guys in the studio." Gianna said giving her a quick hug before walking inside smiling at the memories I've created in this place.

The eight of us stand in a line I'm on the end next to Brady "Hello everyone!" Abby says wheeling inside "Alright. Welcome to Pittsburgh, since this is a new season and a new team everyone will be on the level playing field, so Octavia and Lily can I please have your jackets?" She asked unzipping my jacket walking towards her passing it

"Thank you sweets." smiling at us before I put on my new jumper on "So this is a new competition season and starting on the fresh and the same foot. This week we are going to Red Bank, New Jersey and we'll be attending Starbound as far as I know everyone will be in the group routine it's called broken hearts." Abby continued

"Now for the assignments there will be two trio's and a solo. So for the first trio is Lily, Sarah and Presley and the second is GiaNina, Hannah and Savannah and the solo goes to the one and only miss Octavia it's a ballet routine called Esmeralda and of course it's on pointe so make me proud." she finished making me smile

"Octavia is dancing a ballet routine called Esmeralda it's pretty and on pointe so the judges will be looking at her form with razor sharp eyes nit picking at anything any little mistake she makes." Abby said

"Hi I'm Octavia I'm fourteen years old and I've been dancing since I was two years old. I'm an all round dancer and that includes ballroom, you may recognise me from season five being on the selective competition team and I've been dancing with Abby ever since." Smiling at the camera

"Alright Moms leave guys spread apart and stretch, remember there is a lot riding on this week I want a win for the open season. Okay let's begin on the group girls start on stage left then walk out Octavia I want you out first then split into two groups and lay down on the floor, now Brady start from the right.

Brady I want pointed toes as you step over each girl as they make into different positions. Presley point those toes!" abby shouted at her I continue doing what I'm doing not even flinching as she yells "GiaNina where's the emotion you look like a celery stick! Sarah straighten those legs! Brady when you split jump I need those straight legs and pointed toes." She said

After a few minutes later I can tell Abby is getting very annoyed at us "Guys listen to the instructions why is it that Brady and Octavia are the only ones doing and listening the corrections! Everyone out Octavia can you go grab your point shoes please." nodding my head at her

Aphrodite

I'm excited to be back but I can tell most of these moms are going to be a pain in my fucking ass "So that was interesting wasn't it. Is it always like that?" Michelle Sarah's mom asked "Yeah it does just wait till next week." Stacey tells them as I take a sip of my tea. It's quiet until the yelling starts

"Presley point those toes! GiaNina where's the emotion you look like a celery stick! Sarah straighten those legs! Brady when you split jump I need those straight legs and pointed toes." I wince that's certainly something I haven't missed "My daughter does have emotion she's not a celery stick." Joanne GiaNina's mom says looking up at the ceiling trying not to laugh

"So Aphrodite you excited for Octavia to have a solo?" Anne Hannah's mom asked "Yeah of course who wouldn't be excited to have their kid do a solo." smiling at her "Is her forte Ballet or is there more?" Joanne asked "No she's an all round dancer and that includes ballroom which is most certainly out there." drinking my tea and trying to keep it classy

"I know the season has just started but Joanne is like Cathy just won't shhh at all." I told them making the producers laugh

"She's sent the kids out already they just started dancing not too long ago?" Tricia Brady's mom wondered looking down at Abby I can tell she's already over it "It's Octavia, she's learning her solo already." Anne said we hear Abby and Gianna laugh so Octavia must of said something funny

Octavia

Walking back into the studio with new point shoes that I got over the break from one of the gifts from a dance magazine "New pointe shoes?" Abby asked "Yeah the old ones basically carked it." making them laugh "Alright miss Octavia like I told you before it's Esmeralda very pretty and elegant dance so everything has to be perfect." Abby started

"You have a prop the tambourine, you've got to make sure you shake and hit it as loud as you can for us to hear okay sweets. Now run from the right side and do the pretty run across to centre stage, start with the tambourine above your head relive and hold 3 counts bring it across your body, go into a retire beautiful then croise derriere and strike the tambourine." She told me

"Let's go from the top, Gianna music please." Abby said as I make my way into the starting position as the song begins to play I get lost in the music, once I'm in my finishing position it was just silence in the room before clapping comes.

"That was perfect Octavia just only tiny little mistakes were made but we'll clean up on it tomorrow. Now can you get GiaNina, Hannah and Savannah please?" Abby asked "Yeah of course." walking over to them giving high-fives before walking into the den. "Hey guys GiaNina, Hannah and Savannah miss Abby wants you guys for the trio." I told them

"Ballet is a very precise dance it's easy to pick up on the littlest of mistakes and those mistakes can either make or break a ballerina's career. Also having the first solo of the season I know for sure that there's a lot of pressure on me but I'm confident that I can pull off the win and I'm just confident not cocky there's a difference." I said carefully knowing how easy it is for them to twist your words
