Child's innocence

A rosebud unspoiled by time,

A bird that's just learned to climb,

A snowflake that's yet to touch the ground,

A treasure in its wrapping, still to be found.

A song that's waiting to be sung,

An unfinished canvas, still among,

A pearl that's forming in its shell,

A tale that's waiting to be told and to tell.

The world is new, each step divine,

A heart that's pure, a soul that's kind,

A spirit that's yet to be confined,

A spark of light that's yet to be defined.
