These guys are basically hybrids of a bunch of random species. This is because of the element in their genetics (which their names are based upon). Basically, there's a certain mix of species that has to be constructed for the subject to live. For example, Helium (smol boi) is part angel, part human, and part his element, Helium. If there were, say, an extra 1% of any other species within his genetics, he would have died during his creation. It's very specific.
Because of this connection between species and element, they can have powers. Helium is incredibly light and can fly, as well as freeze people by looking at them. Argon can fly, has heightened senses, and has telekinesis. Radon is abnormally agile and strong. Xenon has good hearing, can fly (his wings can retract and hide whenever he feels like it), and can make people hallucinate. Neon is bioluminescent and manipulates light. And Krypton is incredibly smart and can cause a complete neural shutdown in an opponent if they make eye contact with his right eye. There's minimal chances of surviving this attack. That's also why he looks emo :b
