Chapter 30: Don't Underestimate Me

I don't know if I'm writing the basketball part correctly, but oh well. I'll try my best to write the basketball match, but I might end up editing it in the future.

---- Ogiwara's P.O.V ---- 

We just brought Ren back to the locker room and are waiting for a medic to arrive. Right now Ren is lying down on one of the benches with his head resting on his fiance's lap, who was threading his fingers through his hair. 

"Ren, Akari, what happened out there?" our coach asked, I turned my head to the pair. Akari sighed, "We went to the bathroom and on our way we were talking about how the GOM were a lot stronger than we thought. While washing our hands, we continued to talk about our skills vs theirs, and how our team works better than theirs. Because we always communicate with each other and are a family compared to the GOM, who seem to have... something going on" Akari explained. 

I hummed, "I see what you are saying, there seems to be some hate? No, it's more like they fell apart from each other. I'm assuming you guys didn't notice they were in the bathroom and were eavesdropping on your conversation. I know that Tet-chan was following you guys and he managed to record them attacking you guys." Both Ren and Akari nodded their heads. 

I turned my head to the rest of the team who were sitting anxiously, they were most likely worrying about when the medic would arrive. "But Shi, did you see Tetsu's eye?" Akari asked me, "Yes I did, it was purple again". 

"Purple, you mean his left eye was purple?" Kaito and Helia asked, I nodded my head. "Oh no..." Ray and Vernon said in unison. "Purple eye?" Akihiro spoke, and I hummed again, I'm not surprised that Akihiro and the others don't know. 

"Tet-chan has a hidden power, his true hidden power. However, he only uses it when he is furious, no one has this ability except him. Think of it like this, the Emperor's Eye, Zone and Misdirection became one. I believe Tet-chan created it in case he ever has to use it, but he rarely uses it." I explained, Haruki looked confused. 

"Then why didn't Tetsu use it more in our past matches?" He asked this time Vernon answered the question, "It's because he hates using it, plus it takes a huge toll on his body. Plus the last time he ever used it, was before your team was formed". Helia and Kaito nodded their heads, the others were shocked. "Not to mention that Tetsuya is terrifying when he uses it," Ray continued, causing everyone in team 1 to shiver, including me. I laughed a bit, but I needed to tell them an important piece of information, "there is something that you guys aren't aware of, not even team 1 knows. But every time he uses it, the after-effect it has on his body is terrifying... Tet-chan goes into a mini coma for a few days. He kept it a secret because he didn't want to scare you, not just you guys though, but himself as well" I sighed thinking about the last time he used it. He was out cold for at least 3 days, everyone in the room was silent until the door opened. 

---- Normal P.O.V ---- 

Everyone looked to see who entered the room, team 2 was shocked to their core to see their captain, his left eye a deep purple colour, and he looked pissed. Kuroko looked at his coach and manager, "We'll stick to our original plan, the last 2 quarters, both teams will participate. Shigehiro, you'll sit out, you know what to do. I'll be playing" That shocked everyone, 'Just what did those bastards say to have our captain participate?!'. After all, Kuroko only played if he was angry, and he was past the point of anger. Not to mention the fact that you can tell he was pissed! And what makes it even scarier is the fact that while you can see his fury, his voice remains emotionless!
