Me and Mark were out the house in a second to go crash at a bar and rustle with some hoods in pool.
"Mark, where are we even going to get a car from?" I speak as i step over clothes that we're probably his from last night. "Why do you even ask that? You know i hot wire cars for a living." I gave him a playful eye roll, although he was right. Mark likes to do many things and thinks its fine like, steal, hot wire cars, and rustle with some random people for money. I also do most of those things, but I'm not like Mark. Sometimes i think stealing is bad and hot wiring is bad but i still do it, you know? "Jeez man," I scoff as i leave out the door with mark. "You always find a way to never impress me."

Mark cocked his eyebrow as we hopped in the hot wired car. "I hope you mean that in a good way." Mark fastened his seat belt. "You're actions are very predictable, Mark." We both chuckled.

Me and Mark drove into the bar and hopped out, running in and seeing our bartender friend Charlie. "Pass me a beer will ya?" I lit a weed and stuck it in my mouth. "20 bucks then, Bryon. You know the rules." Charlie said smirking. "Ay, c'mon man i dont mean an actual beer. Maybe a coke for 3?" i was probably begging for a while but he finally gave in.
"If you dont pay me back, your face wont look pretty when i find you." Mark chuckled at me, almost laughing at me. "We all know he wont pay you back." He shrugged. "Shut it, Mark. You wouldn't either." We both went to the pool table to chill out and give Charlie some alone time.  "Hey, Bryon. C'mere, quick."

I don't know how long it took me to realize that some chicks were coming in with their boyfriends, although they were socs. And we aren't very social with them. Suddenly I knew what Mark was trying to do. "Those are some big guys." I dragged on with sarcasm. "I bet we'd beat them in a rustle." Mark gave me a cheeky smirk, the lion mark smirk that he always gives to people. I gave one back and leaned against the pool table and watched their moves while they walked in. Charlie walked up to us as me and Mark lost track. "You guys better not be rustling again." We couldn't lie to him. "Yeah but we could get money outta it and see how humiliated they will be."
"Don't start this bullcrap, please." We both took a moment, or I just did if you thought about it. I thought about it because I didn't want to deal with fighting or any injuries. "Fine."

The big group of socs all sit down on the bar chairs and chatter louder than a school. "God damn they are loud." Mark said with nothing but a weirded out face. "I could say the same thing, to be honest. "It's louder than a school over here. I can't imagine being Charlie right now." I chuckled at myself as Charlie was giving them five cokes for all of them. "Wanna dip? I kinda wanna see how M&M is doing. Haven't seen that hippie in a while." I asked, "Yeah, let's go."

We finally drove to some drugstore and expected M&M to be there because there's always something that he likes in there. "Yo M&M!" Mark hollered, it made M&M jump and almost drop a comic book. "Whatcha doing here at a drugstore? Picking up some weed?" I slumped onto the wall while Mark was just babbling to the kid. "I'm just looking at some comics, what do you want?" Mark gave a look like he had no idea of what he wanted. "Nothing. You tryna come and pick up some chicks?"
"Come on, Mark. Don't." He gave another look but stayed quiet. "I can't. Cathy will be worried about me." M&M spoke. "Man, why does Cathy care? You're always out and about in the streets." Mark questioned. I was almost quiet when I heard Cathy's name. "You know what I mean.. I'm supposed to be back at some time today." We all knew that was a lie. "Oh jeez M&M shut up, no you don't." I barged in. "Yes I do. Now can I leave now because I have to get going soon." We both finally let him go and dipped afterwards.

When we left the drugstore, we drove around and chilled out at The Dingo and Jay's when it turned night with the other hoods and Curtis because we had no where else to go since we already went to the bar and to the drugstore. Me and Curtis didn't have such a good relationship, but we hung out because I had no other option or Mark wasn't gonna be happy. "What's up Curtis?" I asked, "Oh, hey Bryon." I noticed that someone else was there with him and I really couldn't catch my eye. He looked tall and handsome, until the ideas clicked in my head. "Sodapop Curtis?" I said as the man looked towards me and smiled. "Hey, Bryon. How are you?" Now, usually people would be all introducing themselves to me but he was different in my eyes. "I'm fine. How's your brother, Darrel?"
"Oh, he's fine. Nothing much happened so I can't say much." I understood quickly, I could understand Mark like that also. If nothing important is happening, Mark isn't interested in it.
It was a pretty fun night, just chilling and eating, talking and walking and other stuff. I've also gotten to know Curtis's brother, Sodapop. And he's a chill guy. He's also a drop out, and I could never.

Me and Mark were mostly alone inside the dining room while the Curtis brothers left. —"Man, I could really use a drink right now." I groaned as I could feel my throat being dry still, even after drinking probably two cokes.
"I could get you one." Mark spoke, looking away.
"Hah. With what money, Mark?" I replied back, "You always think i have no money," He gave an annoyed face. "I could get you one right now."
Some how I believed him. "Sure. Go ahead." Mark smirked and hopped off his chair and walked his way to the cashier.

It had probably a minute or so, it wasn't that long before Mark came up to me with two beer bottles like nothing. "Well? Go on, chug it." He popped off both of our caps of the bottles and chugged his way down. "Are you crazy? I mean, thanks, but. How did you even get this?" Mark wiped his mouth but spoke mid way.
"I took someones ID while they're were in line, and honestly they didn't expect anything!" We both smirked it off before we dipped.

It had been nearly 10 till we were actually on the road. We had partied a bit with these random chicks because we were drunk, and we still are. And gee, Mark must've been knocked out due to how much he drank, i was almost like that but i drained out on drinking until i felt real dizzy.
"Bryon," Mark slurred. "You're a real jerk, you know that?" He cringed a bit. "I ain't no jerk." I kept my eyes steady on the road and on Mark. I didn't really understand what he meant in general, not even because i was drunk but i didn't. "You're my best friend," Mark finished. "And you're a real brave one for staying." I griped onto the wheel a little before responding. "What do you mean, Mark?"
— "You know what i mean. Don't i get on ur nerves sometimes? Im always doing bad stuff and draggin' ya into it but, I don't know. Im not like you, I don't give a crap about the laws or whatever, i just do what i want to do sometimes, and you know what you're doing at times. You think rather than i do," Mark stopped for a second. "Gee, Bryon.. Don't you ever get tired of me?"

I had pressed on the break before the whole car jolted and everything was quiet. I wanted to slap Mark across the head for saying all this fuss cause it wasn't true. "Why don't you just be quiet will ya? You're drunk and you have no clue what you're saying man. Just go to bed or something." I was pretty annoyed, i dont know why.
"Think about it, Bryon." He finished with no emotion but just plain drunkenness. "Non of that is true. Why do you think that?" I had tried  to calm down and it worked but i was still concerned. "Well, i dunno myself. But, you know what they always say. — Drunk people say sober thoughts"
I rolled my eyes big, "I don't know what to do with ya anymore, Mark." I snorted before he chuckled.
