Vance's POV:

It's finally christmas and I couldn't be more excited, it's only 8 in the morning and I can't even count how many times I've smiled. Shocking right? Anyway, I found the perfect gift for Bruce, I think he's going to love it, I hope he does. It's a light blue T-Rex plush with a baseball cap and hat on.

He loves baseball so I thought it was perfect, I also got him new rings and a lego set, he loves lego's so much, just like when he was a kid. We've known each other since we were young, like really young. Our families are really close so that's also a bonus, my sister, my mom, and me are heading over to Bruce's house soon.

I had Bruce's gifts wrapped in either wrapping paper, or hidden in a gift bag. I placed them on the couch by the front door before going upstairs to my room and changing into a more fancy but warm outfit. "Vance! Are you ready? Mama said we're leaving soon!" My sister questioned after knocking on my door. "Yeah! Almost ready!" I responded, slipping on my shoes.

After tying the lace I went downstairs to be met with my mom and older sister. They were both dressed in warm and fancy clothes. "About time Vance." My mom laughed before kissing my cheek. "Sorry, I wanted to make sure I looked good." I defended, she smiled at me. "You look very handsome, dear. I'm sure Bruce will think so too." I gave a slight smile.

"I really hope Bruce likes his gifts." I laughed nervously, I felt my sister pat my back. "Don't worry little brother! He's a total simp for you, he'll love them." She teased with a laugh, I felt my face turn red in embarrassment. "Lynn! He is not a simp!" I protested. "Whatever you say, now let's go!" She smiled, opening the front door, we were met with cold air, god why is it always so cold here?

"Vance don't forget his gifts!" My mom reminded, thinking I forgot but I didn't. I nodded and walked over to the couch, picking up the gift bag and tucking the wrapped box under my arm. I put Bruce's plush and rings in the gift bag, while his Lego set was wrapped in blue wrapping paper with white snowflakes on it.

We walked down the driveway to the car, I neatly placed the gifts in the back next to me while my sister and mom were up front. I can't wait to give my boyfriend his gifts and see his reaction. He deserves the best and even though I'm not where near good enough, I'm going to try for him.
