That one night

Part 2

FP1 was starting soon so you decided to get up and head to the balcony where you could see the track and the cars from. You and Olly sat down on the seats that came with your passes after you took some pictures of Olly as he looked out onto the track. FP1 started pretty quickly after Olly sat down. You watched all the cars go by and realised how fast and how loud they actually were. It made you happy to see that Olly was the happiest he had probably ever been, the whole of FP1 and FP2 he wouldn't take his eyes of the track.

You watched FP1 and FP2 before getting another drink from the bar and ate some dinner and then headed back to the car because Olly was getting tired. The whole way back to the hotel Olly talked about everything to do with cars. You could really tell he loved it. You arrived back at your hotel at around 6:30pm you got Olly dressed into his pyjamas and putting on his favourite show while you go ready for the night. You and Olly both watched tv until Olly eventually fell asleep around 8pm. You change the tv to a random channel with something interesting on and watch it.

After a while you grab your phone and check your emails and see you have a couple new ones from work but there's one that catches your attention. You start reading it and it is basically telling you that Charles Leclerc has invited you to the Ferrari hospitality tomorrow. He remembers then u think while still reading the email which is now telling you to look for someone in Ferrari gear outside of the paddock entrance tomorrow. You turn your phone of and know why and what he wants to talk about. You think about how excited Olly would be to meet Charles but also think about what woild happen if you told Charles and Olly the truth.

For Olly's whole life it's just been you and him and if you told Charles it's his son then it would be the three of you and with Charles job he wouldn't be around much anyway. You turn the tv of and try and get an early night before tomorrow but for most of the night your awake.

You wake up around 8am and start getting ready straight away. Olly wakes up while your getting ready and walks up to you with his dinosaur. Hello baby you say picking him up and he smiles at you. How are you and Mr dinosaur u ask. Good he says nodding his head. You smile as you put him down and finish your makeup and then get Olly dressed and ready for the day. You grab your things for the day and Olly refuses to leave his dinosaur and blanket behind so you agree on taking them but the blankets in your bag. You head down to breakfast after leaving your room. You both eat breakfast while you talk about cars and dinosaurs. You both finish breakfast and you pick Olly up and head to the car. You put him in his seat and then hop in the front and start driving. Most of the way there Olly is talking about his dinosaur.

You arrive at the paddock at around 9:30 and park your car near the same spot as yesterday, you then get out of the car and pick Olly up and place him on your hip. You walk towards the paddock entrance and see a women in Ferrari gear. You sigh and walk towards her as Olly is playing with his dinosaur in his hand. You walk closer to the entrance and arrive and go to the Ferrari women. Hey I'm Kaitlyn Smith I was told I had to meet a Ferrari worker here in an email I got sent u say nervously. Oh yes it's nice to meet you I'm Sarah it's nice to meet you she says putting her hand out and you shake it. It's nice to meet you to u say with a smile on your face. This is Olly u say as he waves at her. Hello Sarah says with a smile. Hi Olly says shyly. So if you would like to follow me down to the Ferrari hospitality then we can give you a tour and Charles will be there she says. Okay you say with a smile. Olly's eyes widened when she said Charles which made you smile to see how excited he is to meet a f1 driver.
