01 - The Freshmen

Chapter 11

I am going to CESEC. Stephanie's few fruits left me hungry. I am happy to meet the whole gang. Friday afternoon, they are still drinking and continuing the party that commenced on Monday. They uproar me because I have been missing since Tuesday evening. The only thing they know is that I have been seen with many different girls, and I become the Casanova of the faculty. I have spent the week in girls' beds. They don't give me the opportunity to deny, and for the first time, I am not happy to be this kind of hero. This fake news will reach the ears of Cynthia and her friends, and they will retaliate against me. I know what they can do. I try to tell stories about my stooge time for my sponsor, but once again, my sponsor is a pretty girl from the committee.

I think I win the price of humiliation, they don't know because I don't want to share everything, but they win the prices of fun. It is great to be a freshman and have fun, I would have like to have fun with Suzy and her friends, even if I have become a master of sex, I know what to do to satisfy a girl in bed.

As we are having fun around some beers, I see Suzy in discussion with the hazing president. I don't know his name, but everyone calls him Cirrhosis. He must have had a big problem with alcohol, no doubt. She sees me and comes directly.

— Blue, come to Cynthia's at 4 p.m. Don't be late!

Alex laughs.

— Another one who puts the rope around your neck. How many girls do you have?

— Suzy is my sponsor, Alex. There's nothing going on between us, but I have to serve her drinks or do the dishes.

I try to keep a casual tone. I hope Suzy does not take it bad, I don't want her to subject me to abominable things, as she promised me if I did not change. And I don't want her to hear the comments of my comrades.

Yvan intervenes.

— It means nothing, Fred. You told us last week that you jumped on everything that moves with a cunt!

— It's like smoking, I'm trying to quit.

They laugh. But Suzy has heard them. She whispers:

— I see that you don't listen, Blue! I told you what would happen if you continued! Four o' clock!

She walks back to Cirrhosis.

I don't feel for fun anymore. The story is not over, they want it to be worse. Why did I come to this university with bad people? How long will I have to take it and swallow my pain?

I see my friends off and leave the building. I just walk outside, watching my feet. I thought I had touched the bottom when I spent three days without eating last month, but today is worse. Am I able to survive in the jungle of the adult bullies? What can I do? Why me? It is primary school again.

I walk in the flock of students heading towards the station to meet mum and dad. The campus is emptying. All faces look happy, they have lived a long and pleasant week, full of fun and friends. That's what I was expecting from this first week: fun. But I am miserable. My only joy was some moments with Stephanie. Did I do everything wrong? I should have gone to her in July, she would have found the best solution, as always. How stupid am I to decide for myself when Stephanie exists! And the worse is that I have disappointed her, I have made her sad and I spoiled her vacation. My slow steps take me to Bieraux and Cynthia's place. I give my name after ringing and go straight to her floor. Her door is ajar.

The nasty Eurasian welcomes me and closes directly the door. Suzy and Carole are sitting on the sofa.

— Don't waste time, piggy Blue, says Cynthia, undress!

Once again, I take off my clothes, expecting the worse humiliations. I just keep my briefs.

— Everything, piggy Blue, she gets upset and slaps me. Who do you think you are? Just a stupid pig! Do you think you have the right to play with the students of the university?
