Chapter 10

-3rd POV-

Anri looked at the young girl as everyone else had walked out the conference room, "(Y/n)-chan, I didn't know you could be quite scary." She said, as the young girl looked at her.

"I'm only scary to my team if they mess up during practice and disrespectful people." She said, blankly blinking at her, which made the other female sweatdrop.

"Right..." She muttered, before smiling, "Though, you did calm down when Ego-san tapped your head."

(Y/n) nodded, "That's because Ego-san is like a big brother, since my twin brother isn't here. He may be ruthless with his words, but he's nice in his own way. There are a few, here at Blue Lock, that I think of as brothers."

"Oh? Is it from some of the teams?"

"Yeah. Like Hiroi-senpai, Gagamaru-senpai, Nanase-senpai and Kurona-senpai."

(A/n: I have no idea how old is Kurona, since it doesn't state on his profile, which means I don't know if he would be -kun or -senpai, but if anyone finds out, please let me know so I can change it.)

Anri hummed softly, "You must love your brother dearly."

"Of course. We've been together since we were born." She smiled softly.

'Wait, now I can ask!' She thought, as she was about to open her mouth to talk, but unfortunately she didn't get to talk.

"Come on, both of you, we don't have all day." Ego's voice could be heard.

The woman pouted, 'I wanted to ask her if she had a small crush on any of the boys at Blue Lock...' She thought, before picking up some files and walking with the girl following after.

"Isagi..." Chigiri said, as he was sitting, panting, "He's probably already won and moved on, huh? Team coordination is important too, but...we gotta hurry up and move forward, else they will clear without us."

"Well, yeah." Kunigami said, picking up his drink and sipping it, "I get it, but we can't rush it either. We could've randomly win, pick up random teammates, but that's simply the wrong priority. What we need now is to raise our strength properly. Isagi, Bachira, and Nagi, to win against these guys is our ultimate goal. So we gotta find someone strong and move forward with them."

"But y'know, it's been a while since the second selection started." He said, grabbing his drink from the male, who passed it to him, "Thanks." He muttered, "The stronger guys seem to have already won and move on, no?"

"Hm...That's true..."

The red haired male's eyes averted to their other teammate, "What do you think, Reo?"

"As long as I can win against Nagi, I don't care about anything else..." He looked at them, "I will make him say that he needs me."

It was quiet, the only sound from Kunigami sipping his drink.

"Is that a lingering affection you have for him?" The orange haired male said.

"No. It's revenge." The purple haired male said.

"Very nice. How spirited." Chigiri said, smiling.
