Taehyun's POV

I jumped down from the gate as the five creatures I've met before stared at me

"What? We're not going to spend our day staring, are we?", I asked as they all snapped out of it

I laughed at their reactions as one of them cleared their throat

"So, have you thought about going through a little adventure?", the person who gave me the map asked

"I am. Though I am not sure if I would stay for long. Father does not know that his son is out of his reach.", I said before looking at each at them

"But before we go, I must know... What creatures are each and every one of you.", I said as they all looked at each other

"Yoenjun, your Royal Highness. My name is Yeonjun and I'm a Dragon.", he says as he smiled proudly

"The name's Soobin, dear Higness. I'm known as a siren and mermaid hybrid. I have the traits of both. I have a manipulative voice when I sing and I have sharp gills from being a siren.", Soobin paused

"But, I have colorful scales of a mermaid, as well as a non predatory tail.", he explained

"It's, not suprisingly, my first time hearing a siren and mermaid hybrid...", I pointed out as he smiled

"They say that, most of the time at least", Soobin said as I nodded

"Your Highness.", One said and bent down to bow facing me

"I'm Beomgyu and I'm a werewolf.", he says before moving aside as I looked at the most prettiest one of them

"Pleasure, your Highness. I'm Kai and I'm a fairy", he simply says as I smiled and nodded

"No need to introduce myself, correct? I'm pretty sure you know who I am by now, seeing how you can properly acknowledge me now.", I said

They all nodded

"Is there something or someone else we're expecting? Seeing as all of you are just still and motionless, I might as well ask.", I said raising one of my eyebrow

"Uhm, not really haha... Better get going before the sun sets, you see", Soobin said as he smiled

I just nodded and watched them pick up their things as they prepared to lead my adventure

"Your Royal Highness, thy Majesty is expecting thous to present in his presence", mother's favorite lady in waiting said

"I'll be on my way.", I simply answered as I looked in the mirror one last time to check my outfit

"I wonder how long mom took to perfectly sew this work of art", I said to myself as I walked out my room and onto the long hallways

Once I arrived at the great hall I was met with about 60 people or so

We barely have 'public' events at our castle, we usually invite other Royals, rich people and close family friends

I sighed at the loud noise of music as I make my way to the middle to see what was going on

La Volta

My eyes widened as I quickly look at who were dancing

"Father? Mother?", I was shocked to see them dance this

Normally, they would dance simple waltz but La Volta?

"La Volta is what they're dancing, correct?", a Duke asked me as I slowly looked at him

I greeted him and nodded

All of a sudden I saw these ladies on the other side of the court

Once I caught their eyes, almost immediately they reacted

With fans suddenly in their hands, they smiled seductively at me

I started to feel weirded out by them when suddenly they were fanning their faces, in a quick but elegant pace that is

They made sure to look interested in me as I quietly made my attempt to escape

"Your Highness! You've been zoned out", Kai said as I looked at him

"Get out of the boat, we're here."
