Salvatore Boarding School
After the disappearance of Dr. Saltzman and the twins, Aaron and Hope got tired finding out what happened to them. So, they decided to sleep on everything and come back to it in the morning. Hope didn't want to be alone, so she crashed in Aaron's dorm. The two watched Cut-Throat Kitchen until midnight before falling asleep, Hope laying in Aaron's arms, the Salvatore boy holding her close throughout the night, scared she would disappear. It was early in the morning when Aaron woke up and saw Hope was still in his arms, causing him to let out a silent exhale of relief. He kissed the top of her head gently, causing her to start waking up. "What time is it?" Hope asked. Aaron looked over at his alarm and sighed. "4:30." Aaron said, his voice raspy.
Hope groaned slightly, moving her head into Aaron's neck. "Too early." Hope said quietly. "I know. Go back to sleep." Aaron whispered. "I'm awake now." Hope said into Aaron's neck tiredly. "Doesn't matter. You're still half asleep." Aaron said. "I'm also half awake." Hope retorted. "Just go back to sleep. I'll wake you up later." Aaron told his girlfriend, holding her closer. Hope looked up at Aaron and noticed something behind his ear. "What's that?" Hope asked, touching behind his ear. "It's a birth mark." Aaron said. "In the shape of the Gemini sign." Hope said. "Yeah, I know. Not everyone from the Gemini Coven had one. It's pretty rare." Aaron said, yawning.
"What does it mean?" Hope asked. "Don't really know. Never really cared." Aaron said. "It doesn't bother you that you don't know what it means?" Hope asked. "Nope." Aaron said, smiling. "How can you not want to know?" Hope asked, lifting herself with her arm. "Like this." Aaron said. He shrugged before smiling again. Hope shook her head. "You're lucky I love you." Hope said. "Aww. I love you too." Aaron said, kissing Hope's cheek. "You missed." Hope said. "Not until I brush my teeth. I don't want to kiss you with morning breath." Aaron said. "Fair enough." Hope said. She kissed his cheek before lying back down. The two just laid in comfortable silence and watched the sun rise, enjoying each other's company.
Later
Hope and Aaron were currently stood outside one of the cells in the basement, watching Alyssa meditate. Turns out, the ascendant Aaron found was fake and Alyssa created a fake ascendant. So, the two tribrids were trying to find the real one. "Enough with the illusion spells, Alyssa. Tell me where the ascendant is." Hope said, annoyed. Alyssa just stayed silent. "Why isn't my truth spell working?" Hope asked. "Hmm, I guess that anti-charm potion I took is working." Alyssa said smugly. "It is. Too bad you could use a little charm." Aaron told the Chang girl. Alyssa stood up and then bent backwards, placing her palms to the floor and causing her back to be arched. "Enough with the games, Alyssa. Help me bring the Saltzmans back." Hope demanded.
"Why, so you can be the hero and save the day?" Alyssa asked rhetorically. Alyssa stood back up and moved into another position. "This isn't about you, Hope. Though, if I knew how annoying you'd be, I would have sent you away, too." Alyssa said. She then looked at Aaron. "Except you." Alyssa told the Salvatore boy. Aaron raised his brow. "You can stay as long as you want." Alyssa said, winking at him. Aaron rolled his eyes at her behaviour and Hope's anger was starting to get out of control. "How's this? You tell me where the real ascendant is, and I won't pluck your eyelash extensions out one by one." Hope said. "Sorry, but I don't negotiate with basic witches. So, I'm never telling you where the ascendant is. Namaste." Alyssa said, going into a final position.
