LAURENCE AND KATHY

The sale of books has gone down, because it has been overshadowed by good movies and shows that people are addicted to. Theaters are always packed, and phone apps that let you watch blockbuster movies and shows are really popular. It's always talked about and nothing that's released is rotten, there's only something better, something newer. But there are young friends Laurence, Ann, Christine, Honmae, and Kathy who are isolated; remains a fan of the book. They are lazy, do nothing, contribute nothing to society, but read and read all day long, until their eyes are worn out.

Almost all the books, published from other countries, that are translated into the English language, up to the American novels have been completed by them. It seems that the books to be read are rotting, so to speak, that very few people enjoy them, until they run out, no one reads them anymore. Because of this, writers have stopped making books, they are just sending them to productions of shows so that they can have creative artistic subject matter. Laurence Veraque is the youngest and only male of the friends, who can be called gay 'cause it's obvious.

But it is said in a saying, that the language is English, "Don't judge the book by its cover". He's not really gay, or interested in the same gender. "Straight" as it is called, is only soft in movement and used to women's work, because he is used to it, with his girl friends. Only now has he hardened, or his movements have changed, he has also fallen in love with a very beautiful young woman. The girl's name is Kathy, her full name is Kathy Ranes, her complexion is very beautiful, and her bangs are very happy. She's nice to be with, she's always happy to talk to, she's always supportive.

Laurence couldn't be blamed if he fell head over heels for the beautiful Kathy. There was a little boredom, when a woman came along whose name was Ann, her full name was Ann Abad. Her jokes are pointless, not funny, "corny" if you call it, it's better to keep quiet. But even though they are still happy when she is there, the story is more lifeless, if they are lacking and incomplete. Christine, on the other hand, has the most siblings who go with friends, but they are only forced to go with them because they are men and it is scary to compete with them. Christine Joy Rivera is her whole name.

They have a Filipino friend, who speaks Filipino language. Its name is Honmae, Honmae Villroquero's full name. She is not good at speaking the English language, so only her friends speak her language. She has strict parents, who aren't that rich, but they're exaggeratingly artistic, but Honmae didn't inherit that, so her friends love her. There is little but not much, the problem is, she still needs to run away just to join the group gathering. The location of their homes is on the other side of the city, they are neighbors.

The only exception is Kathy, whose distance is no joke, whose visit is punishment for walking. Kathy is only involved in their relationship when her parents allow it, the same as Honmae's parents, but Kathy's is more strict. Laurence travels miles, he can only visit his beloved, but he has not courted her yet. Laurence is still not sure if Kathy has feelings for him, the young man is awkward, shy, and afraid of getting a "No" answer. He made sure first, nah, he's weak.

He was showing a motive, it was obvious to Kathy. He visits almost every day, apparently, to steal money from his parents for the fare because it is impossible for him to walk far from Kathy's house. The girl's parents agree that Laurence will always visit, just don't ask her to come with him to the city so that the five of them can be together. Sometimes, he got the parents to let Kathy go to the meeting, but very rarely. Laurence buys another book to read, and travels again to visit Kathy and share the purchased novel.

Laurence and Kathy love to read stories, which they almost always do when the young man visits. When he arrived, he knocked but no one answered or opened the door. In the direct rays of the sun, the heat is scorching, sweat is pouring out. He opened his phone and called Kathy, and she answered.
