Your heartbeat rises fast as a distant terror approaches.
The scream makes you shiver.
It is a bulk detonator, the biggest threat of Hoxxes.
You clench your teeth and throw a light flare. Terror strikes you deeper as the creature's face gets faintly lit up.
In panic, you shoot all your magazines at the thing, giving it all you've got.
Bullets come and go as you reload frantically between each mag.
35, 25, 15, 5.. 0
Reload

Repeat
Your dwarven rage rises up as your mind tells you to survive to honor the fallen.
You keep backing down until a wall blocks you but you continue shooting relentlessly until at the last second.. the creature stops and explodes in an earth shaking blast of fire.
Shortly after, rocks and stones fall down onto you, and you avoid them expertly.
You throw a light flare to discover the gigantic hole the creature has carved in the cave.
You rest against the wall, collecting some extra morkite and calling the mule for your return.
You did it.
