I was in the Hogwarts Express, looking for Dean, so that we can sit together. Then I felt someone tap my shoulder and I turned to see Harry. I was aware that everyone was staring. At Harry. After the whole Chosen One drama.
"Fancy trying to find a compartment?"
I was surprised he asked me. I mean, Ron and Hermione have to be somewhere else, as they are now prefects. But I'm sure he could ask anyone. We have never been that close. Never really hung out, especially not at Hogwarts. We did hang out a lot over the summer, but still.... Well, I have to find my boyfriend.
"I can't, Harry, I said I'd meet Dean," I said brightly. "See you later."
"Right," said Harry.I spun around and walked away, my long red hair dancing behind me.

I walked down the Great Hall with Luna by my side. We had been hanging out. I waved to her as she walked off to the Ravenclaw table as I made my way to the Gryffindor table. I stopped in my tracks when I overheard Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
"I s'pose you think I cheated?" he finished, aggravated by her expression.
"Well, it wasn't exactly your own work, was it?" she said stiffly.
"He only followed different instructions to ours," said Ron. "Could've been a catastrophe, couldn't it? But he took a risk, and it paid off."
He heaved a sigh. "Slughorn could've handed me that book, but no, I get the one no one's ever written on. Puked on, by thelook of page fifty-two, but —"
"Hang on," I spoke by Harry's left ear. He looked around until he saw me. "Did I hear right? You've been taking orders from something someone wrote in a book, Harry?"My voice had an edge to it. How could it not. My mind went back to my first at Hogwarts. When I was only eleven years old. I went through a lot of trauma, and the idea that he would do something like this, knowing what it did to me....
Harry must have known what was on my mind. "It's nothing," he said reassuringly, lowering his voice."It's not like, you know, Riddle's diary. It's just an oldtextbook someone's scribbled on."
"But you're doing what it says?"
"I just tried a few of the tips written in the margins, honestly, Ginny, there's nothing funny —"
"Ginny's got a point," said Hermione, perking up atonce. "We ought to check that there's nothing oddabout it. I mean, all these funny instructions, whoknows?"

It was Christmas Break, and we were at the burrow. I had my hair in a braid down my back and wore shorts and a tank top. I was in my room, reading a letter I got from Luna. We got close last year during the D.A and we keep in touch. After writing my letter to her, and sending it off by owl, I headed downstairs. Once in the kitchen I saw several people, including Harry. He had something in his hair. I peered closer to get a better look at it.
"Harry, you've got a maggot in your hair," I told him cheerfully, leaning across the table to pick it out. Then I walked over to my dad, leaving Harry to conversate with Ron.

I headed down the Great Hall, my eyes landing on Dean. But I stopped in my tracks when I heard the voice of my idiotic brother.
"You could've taken anyone!" said Ron in disbeliefover dinner. "Anyone! And you chose LoonyLovegood?"
"Don't call her that, Ron," I snapped, pausingbehind Harry on my way to join my friends. "I'm reallyglad you're taking her, Harry, she's so excited."
Then I turned my back on Harry and Ron and continued down the aisle. I sat next to Dean, and he smiled at me.

I watched Ron kissing Lavender and rolled my eyes, crossing my arms. He gets on my nerves. After all the yelling at me for kissing Dean in public, he goes around and does the same thing. My eyes landed on Harry, who appeared to be searching for someone. Probably Ron. He walked closer to me. I don't think he had seen me yet.
"Looking for Ron?" I asked, smirking. "He's over there, the filthy hypocrite."
Harry looked at me and then into the corner I was indicating. There, in full view of the whole room, stood Ron, wrapped so closely around Lavender Brown it was hard to tell whose hands were whose.
"It looks like he's eating her face, doesn't it?" I said dispassionately. "But I suppose he's got to refine his technique somehow. Good game, Harry."
I patted him on the arm, smiling softly at him. Then I turned, my hair flying behind me, as I walked off, Crookshanks following me.
