I woke up to my alarm going off. I turned on my side and turned it off groaning. I couldn't sleep at all my thoughts kept me up.

I got up and stretched as I walked to the bathroom and did my business.

I'm not really a morning person but I have to get up and get ready for work.

I own a record sharp and work there I make a good amount of money.

I grabbed my headphones and key's before walking out the apartment.

I put my headphones on and pressed played to my music.

Music is my escape it helps me leave reality and wander off in my own mind and world. It helps me a lot especially when I'm overthinking.

If I had to say who was my best friend I'd say music it's been there for me through the hardest nights and days of my life.

I unlocked the door to the record shop and turned the lights on before placing my backpack down and taking my headphones off.

I connected my laptop to the speakers and played some music as I got everything up.

"Villa" my best friend jack yelled as he walked in

"Hey Jacky" I said as I gave him a fist bump. Jack has been my best friend since 1st grade he also works with me.

"I'm so sleepy I didn't feel like getting up" he whined as he took his jacket off

"Tell me about it" I said laughing

"Oh here I stopped by the cafe and grabbed us some donuts"he said as held up the small bag.

If I'm being completely honest i haven't ate in 2 days I'm on a strict diet I feel like I'm not good looking enough but no one has to know that. They don't have to know about my problems

"That's kind of you Jacky but I ate something on the way but thank you" I said smiling

"Oh well more for me" he said as he took a bite out of it.

it was now 6pm jack had already left it was just me now. As I was sitting down reading a book the door open. I didn't bother to look up until a soft voice spoke.

"Excuse me do you have the smiths records" the soft voice spoke I looked up to be greeted with the most beautiful smile ever

"I- uh yea we do" i said I said I stumbled over my words making the girl giggle. "There in the back left corner" I said pointing

She smiled and walked to the back to look at them as a tall buff man wearing all black walked in.

"Ms Jenna let's go we're gonna be late for the photo shoot" he said making her turn around and walk over to the counter

"Do you think you could save these for me" she asked

"Yea of course"I said smiling

"What time do you close" she asked me "we close at 10:30pm"I said knowing Damm well I close at 8:20 but for he I'd stay up and wait.

"Great I'll come by and pick them up at 10" she said looking at me with these beautiful eyes that could make you fall in love in a second

"That sounds great see you than"I said as she walked out leaving me there with a smile on my face
