"When the silence came, we were shaking blind and hazy
How the hell did we lose sight of us again?
Sobbin' with your head in your hands
Ain't that the way shit always ends?"

"Married? All of a sudden?" She perked in her soft tone yet with a hint of irritation in her voice to her parents. They sat across her, on the million dollar couch with their emotionless faces.

"Yes." Was all heard from her father. Her brows knitted together as she wasn’t able to understand the need of a sudden announcement of her being wedded before the end of this month.

She sighed heavily in agony. Realizing the fact that, it was a arranged marriage, which was obvious she never saw the man and met him.

Although she found it much more comforting. Like, knowing the men helped her a lot, when she dated some of them.

She scoffed hearing herself in the back of her head. She lifted her head to look at her parents and smiled nodding to them. They shared a contented glance with each other. Her mother scooted herself next to her giving her a warm hug.

"Thank you, Y/n." She heard her mother sniffing, making her puzzled. Her mother patted her head, softly stroking  hair. She smiled as they parted and looked at her father.

He had a complete dead face and stood up from his place walking towards the staircase, but before he headed towards the up, he announced.

"You definitely should meet him tomorrow. At 2:00 p.m. Is that clear?"

"Yeah." She retorted in her calm voice which were followed by footsteps proceeding towards the top of the staircase.

Looking back at her mom, who had watery eyes. Smiling at her daughter with the tears, she hugged her again.

Something wasn't right.

Parting with her, her mom smiled, cupping her face; "I think you should get some sleep. It’s getting late."

Y/n nodded with a gentle smile and walked towards her room. Her mom left silent, sitting alone in the big living room. With her hands drenched in sweat and heart racing.

"How long you’re planning to sit there?" she heard her husband mocking with an expensive cigar between his fingers. Shooting her glare at him, she walked with her hands turned into balls, while her nails dug in her palms.

She walked past him towards their shared bedroom. Closing the door behind him, he looked over his wife’s back. Putting down the cigar in the ashtray next to the door.

"It’s alright. One day she has to get married." He spoke while taking out his night robe, which he had as he entered the room.

‘BUT NOT LIKE THIS!! THIS IS CHEATING!’ His wife raised her voice while tears streaming down her cheeks. As she turned to face her husband.
He chuckled hearing her and sat on the bed, with his hands crossed over his chest with a evil smile played over his lips.

‘Let’s see how much your daughter costs.’

I slowly opened my eyes, and the big white ceiling, displayed in front of me. I squinted my eyes, trying to adjust the vision.

My head is throbbing, terribly. I sat up, holding my head. Looking around, I saw, a very different and new room. This wasn't new house, definitely.
