Authors note:
Thank you all for a 100k!! I'm so happy, and I hope you enjoy this little epilogue.

I found myself holding my breath as she entered the room.

She catches everyone's attention almost instantly, I can't even blame them, how could they not stare? Long black hair floats down her back, a skirt so short it makes her legs look two meters long, and eyes so dark and sharp they would bring any man to his knees.

She is sin and temptation wrapped in red lips and platform boots.

And her first victim just put himself in her front line, leaning against the bar as she is ordering her drink. I don't know if he is brave or just plain stupid.

"Ah, poor thing," Axel sighs, "he is about to get traumatized,"

Jamie chuckles, his head leaning against his hand as he stares at the scene. "This feels like a deja vu,"

Yeah, it does. But now the random beautiful woman being flirted with is not so random, now she is my beautiful wife who is on the verge of making the college boy cry. I should probably help him out, but he needs to learn his lesson.

"Mavis looks beautiful," Nale states out loud, "it's like she hasn't aged a day,"

Nale has outgrown his silence. Gone is the quiet nerdy boy he once was, he now expresses himself loud and proud, his success in the tech industry might have helped with that, but the girl he met after graduation needs to be attributed some credit too. She really dragged him out of his shell and made him live.

I wish she stayed around though. Nale was truly the happiest I've ever seen him around her, but I guess everything has its timing.

Mavis chuckled. Not a genuine chuckle, but the exact same sardonic one she gave Axel when we first met, and that's my cue to intervene.

I make my way to them and stand close behind her, she doesn't acknowledge me but the guy does, he tilts his head in question and Mavis chuckles again before she takes a sip of her drink. "Isn't he cute, baby?"

She slightly turns around and looks up at me, and I fall in love with her all over again. It's like this with every look, every word, every gesture, I will always fall for her.

"You think he would like to be in one of our little games?" She looks back at him, "do you like to be tied down, pretty boy?"

The pretty boy looks embarrassed and terrified at the same time. "My beautiful husband here will be gentle, but I can't promise you I will," his eyes comically widen while his cheeks turn a scarlet red.

He barely mutters an apology before his feet rapidly carried him back to where he came from.

Axel was right, the boy is probably traumatized.

I lean my head on hers for a moment before I kiss it. "Are we inviting people into our sex life now?"

She swirls in my arm and I'm met with her gorgeous face. "Why? You've got ideas on who you want to join?"

Ten years later and it's still hard to think when she is touching me, but I'm not stupid enough to answer a trick question, there is no one else I want but her.

Her eyes are lit with mischief as she toys with the buttons of my shirt, "won't you answer?"

I tuck a hair strand behind her ear and lightly grab her chin to tilt her head up, "That would become a Hitlist for you, Mavi,"

She hums, her lips an inch away from mine. "I love that you know me so well," of course I know her. I know how possessive she is of me, she gets irritated when I get flirted with, and she would never let anyone in on our sex life.

And that side of her still drives me crazy to this day.

"You look handsome," her hand travels behind my head to where she threads her fingers between my hair. "I want to take a bite out of you but you're lucky I'm wearing red lipstick,"

I settle for a kiss on the cheek, my arm tightening around her waist " I do feel like the luckiest man alive," that's probably what everyone in this room is thinking.

A little smile dances on her lips. "Yeah, you are,"

Over the years Mavis's confidence skyrocketed, and nothing made me happier than seeing her fall in love with herself and become the amazing woman she is today.

Tugging on her hand I say, "Come on, the guys miss you,"

Jamie was the first to get out of his seat and swoop Mavis into a hug. My wife still isn't a physical touch kind of person, but since she hasn't seen Jamie in months she is giving him the privilege of a hug.

"I've missed you, you evil woman," he cracks out the widest smile at her and she does the same for him. Since our college days, I feel like they've always had the closest bond. Mavis is the one who encouraged Jamie to go back to his hometown and win back his first love, and he did it. They got married at twenty-five, and have a three years old kid.

"Why didn't you bring Amaya with you?" She asks Jamie while turning to hug Nale, "you're looking good, mister millionaire, but you still can't pull any girl,"

Nale chuckles. "Hey, don't make me sound like a loser,"

She offers him a smile with a little shrug, "you said it, not me,"

"Still a mean girl, some things never change," Axel mutters from his seat, catching Mavis's attention.

She eyes him for a moment, before walking to stand in front of him, she leans her arm on the table and whispers loud enough for us to hear, "you're right, you're still as pathetic as when I first met you,"

He scowls at her, then his sneer turns into a genuine smile. "Screw you,"

She grins back at him. "I've missed you too,"

Yeah, those two never changed. Their bickering got worst with the years, but with no real hard feelings behind their words, they like each other but would never admit it. When Axel got cheated on, Mavis broke his ex-girlfriend's car windows and threatened her to never approach him again.

Yeah, her extreme and impulsive tendencies didn't change either, but at least she controls them better.

It's been two years since we have been married, I proposed to her on her thirtieth birthday, and I was scared shitless when I did it. I really didn't need the law to bind us together, since as cheesy to say our souls were already bound together, no matter how many disagreements we get into, we would never leave each other, I'm sure of that, but a small part of me craved to be called her husband, and in return have then the privilege to call her my wife.
And when she said yes, I was over the moon with joy, because now she was stuck with me forever in all sort of ways.

"Why didn't you bring your wife, Jamison?" She asks again as we settle around the table. She has developed a cute little friendship with Amaya, even though at first Amaya hated Mavis. Jamie's wife is your typical sweet southern girl, and since Mavis doesn't come off as the friendliest and most polite person, she didn't immediately click off with her, but when she learned that she helped Jamie and her get back together the animosity diluted quickly.

"She couldn't make it, her work is kind of busy around this time of the year so she couldn't take a break,"

She clicked her tongue at Jamie. "Why are you making your wife work so hard," she flashes me a smirk, "my husband doesn't let me lift a finger,"
