The girl goes silent, as something seems off..she turns around only to see them lose the spark in their eyes.
"No..no!" The girl yells
She rushed towards the wounded kid, she felt as if the world was against her once more. The girl catches them only for it to reveal, they have been shot in the back..the arrow went right through their heart.
"S-Stay awake! It's not time to die, you can't die here!" the girl cries
" You idiot" They let out a laugh, a painful one
They cough up blood, the tears run down their face. Knowing it'll be the last time with the girl, wanting to feel something other than this pain. The hearing of the girl's voice trembling hurts more than the wound.
"Stop you idiot, I'm not worth these tears!" They says
"Yes you are! You were supposed to live, we were supposed to be together.." Her voice trail's off
"Oh? So now you choose to confess?" they whisper trying to stay awake
"It's not very easy confessing to a friend okay?!"
"I get that, I'm a coward to..I was waiting to say this to you for a long time now.." they grunt in pain.
The area goes silent, you hear nothing but birds and crickets. The enemies left the area because they had grown weak. The kid looks up to the girl with a smile and painful yet.. comforting smile.
"Don't say it, it'll make everything hurt more.." she yells
"I love you idiot" they say as they lose their final breath
The body once alive, cheerful, and adventurous lays still and silent..
"I love you too..." the girl whispers, while tears fall down her face one after another
