"HOW DOES IT feel to be almost slaughtered again?!" One second out of the hospital and you're already bombarded with news reporters left and right.
"Uhh, okay I guess." You answered, what kind of question was that?
"Guys, leave her alone." Tatum told the reporters, "Where were you during the attack?" Another reporter asked, completely disregarding Tates request
"Doing your mom." Tatum turned to the reporter with a fake smile before getting in the car with you
"That was a pretty good response." You laughed, "I've been dying to say that to one of them, kinda hoping it would've been Gale though." Tate smiled before starting up the car and driving back to Windsor College
Once you and Tatum got to the dorms, she had informed you on her whereabouts before leaving, she's on her way to an "investigation date" with Randy along with Gale and Dewey as they were all destined to find out who the masked killer is this time
"Investigation date, that's cute." You laughed to yourself as you lied in bed
No noise except for the outside. No one bothering you with questions on a minor attack. No one, not a single person. You finally felt at peace as the sun shined in your dorm
Until you heard Tatum scream
You didn't waste a second storming out of your dorm and straight to the field searching for your best friend when you found an open van that leaked blood
"Tate, Tate, what happened?" You quickly asked "Holy shit." You covered your mouth once you seen Randy covered in blood while Tatum attempted to cover his stab wounds, "Y/N call 9-1-1!" Tatum begged, you took out your phone and dialed 9-1-1 as quickly as possible
"What the hell happened?" You asked as you waited for 9-1-1 to pick up, "Ghostface." Tate replied before turning her attention towards Randy, "Randy." She cried, "Please wake up" She said
"9-1-1, what's your emergency?" The operator asked, "My friends been stabbed multiple times, we need an ambulance at Windsor College now." You said as quickly as you could, "Okay, okay. We're sending police and an ambulance down right now and they'll get there as soon as possible." She informed, "Thank you." You sighed before hanging up
"Just keep pressure on it, okay Tate?" You said, Tatum just nodded as her tears dried on her face, "I'm so sorry, Ran." She cried before kissing his cheek
In a matter of 2 minutes, the ambulance showed up, "Thank God." You let out a sigh of relief, they quickly took randy out of the van and transported him to the back of the ambulance
"Are you coming?" Tatum asked you as she sat with Randy, holding his hand, "I'll be there, gonna answer some questions first." You replied, Tatum nodded before the ambulance truck took off
"Okay, Ms. Y/L/N, were you here as the attack happened?" A police officer questioned you, "No sir, I was in my dorm." You answered, "How did you find out about the attack?" He asked, writing your replies down on a little notebook, "I heard my best friend screaming and just ran out." You said
"Was the attacker there when you got there?" A news reporter then asked, "Not that I know of. It must've just run off." You answered truthfully
"Isn't that convenient." They rolled their eyes
You looked at them and then realized that she looked awfully familiar, like you've seen her before but you can't remember from where
The reporter noticed you taking in all of her features and quickly walked away
"I'm sorry, but I really need to get to the hospital." You told the officer, "But Tatum would give you a better description of what happened." You said, "Go right ahead. Thank you, Y/N." He replied
You ran back out of your dorm after grabbing Tatum's car keys when you bumped into Sidney, "Jesus Christ, Sid." You let out a scared breath, "Did you hear about Randy?" She asked, "Yeah, I'm on my way to the hospital right now, you coming?" You asked, Sidney nodded before you both took off to Tatum's car
You and Sidney made it to the hospital as quick as you could and rushed to the front desk, "Welcome, how may I help—" "Randy. We're looking for a Randy Meeks." You cut the lady off
"I'm sorry." You apologized, "I'm just in a bit of a rush," You informed, feeling terrible for cutting the lady off
"That's totally fine, we get people doing that all the time." She nervously laughed, "Randy Meeks is in room G23." She smiled, "Thank you so much." You and Sid said together
You and Sidney booked it to Randy's room to see Dewey and Gale sitting down while Tate sat by Randy, holding his hand, "Holy shit." Sid laughed with tears slipping from her eyes, "Son of a bitch lived." You laughed along before going to gently hug Randy
"How the hell?" Sidney asked as she hugged Randy, "Virginity." He simply responded with a smirk, "Being a nerd came in clutch." You joked while hugging Tate, "I'm joking." You whispered, Tatum giggled before lightly smacking your arm
Just then, a knock on the door made everybody fall silent and when no one moved, the door opened revealing the police
"Sorry for the interruption, but we're gonna need to speak with these two." The officer pointed to Randy and Tatum, "No problem." Dewey said, being the first to walk out, "We'll be in the waiting room." You told Tatum who nodded in response
"We almost had him." Gale paced back and fourth, "We almost got Randy killed." She ranted, grabbing her purse, "Where are you going?" Dewey asked, "To catch this bastard, you in?" She turned to Dewey. Dewey just looked at you and Sid who nodded for him to go, "Be careful." You stood up to give Dewey a hug, "You, too." Dewey smiled into the hug
You then turned to Gale to give her a hug as well, "You, too.. I guess." You said, "Thanks." Gale shot you a fake smile, "Really feel the love." She said before walking off with Dewey
"Hey, you mind if I call Derek real quick? I wanna make sure he's okay." Sid asked, "Yeah of course, take your time." You replied, Sidney nodded before walking out of the hospital to call Derek which left you in the waiting room by yourself
You examined your surroundings, something you've been doing for quite a while now. Your attention went from the people walking in and out to the nurses calling in patients from left to right. The more that went on, the shorter your breath got
Everything moved so fast yet so slow, is that even possible?
You closed you eyes for a moment, in attempt to just have everything stop and catch your breath, even if it were for a few seconds when you felt a hand on your shoulder
This hand wasn't a hand you've felt recently, but you've felt it before
Not daring to open your eyes or even move a muscle, the person spoke, "It's okay, I'm here." They said
