This is my take on a request for @band—psycho on tumblr from anonymous saying "Can you do a Harvey(suits)one were him and the reader have a Secret relationship ship and he gifts her some white Christian louboutin's heals and he wear some black loubotins(men dress shoes)and they Stan next to each other(you can see the red of the bottom of the shoes)and Mike and everyone else is conducting the dots because they noticed the reader and him match and she get all shy and he helps her (like a power couple/style couple lol hope this makes sense sorry" only using marvey instead of Harvey/reader

When Harvey and Mike started dating they agreed to keep it out of the firm, they didn't want even more associates to think Mike was getting special treatment by dating a senior partner. So while they remained strictly professional in the office, at home they were the most romantic couple you could come across. Harvey would constantly dote on Mike, giving him gifts upon gifts, while Mike would always help out, making romantic dinners, giving Harvey massages after a long day... they were picture perfect. After they were dating awhile Harvey asked Mike to move in with him, of course he said yes and he moved in almost immediately (Harvey said no to the chair but graciously let Mike keep the panda). Soon after, Harvey proposed with a simple silver band with a diamond imbedded into it. When at work mike would put it on his middle finger and kept the diamond facing towards his palm. But one morning both Mike and Harvey were a little out of it due to the previous nights... activities 😏 so they didn't realize when they put on the matching gift Harvey had gotten them for their one year anniversary. Matching louboutin's. After they had finished their morning routine of taking a shower, getting dressed, brushing teeth, flipping the ring, they were ready to head out the door. Sadly, as to not raise suspicion, Mike still rode his bike and Harvey got Ray to drive him. As soon as they step into Pearson Specter Litt the rumors started, because somehow (aka Harvey bribing Ray to take the long way every morning) they always arrive to work at the same time. It started with how... relaxed Harvey looked and how calm and happy Mike looked. So the rumors started that they had sex with twins, or they had a threesome, and they kept getting worse. Around halfway through the day Mike got fed up with all the rumors, so as soon as he finished going over the previous days deposition he took it to Harvey, who had been hearing the rumors as well. "Can you believe this, their ideas are idiotic, did I not come out to all of them awhile ago?" Harvey let his fiancée finish his rant before calming him down. "Mike, sweetheart? Take a deep breath... good and another? Ok one more, good boy"- that got Mike flustered for a different reason-"calm down puppy, they are all idiots. We know what's really happening, that's all that matters, but if it really bothers you that much we can go to Jessica, get people to stop?" Mike whimpered and slumped, he was emotionally and physically drained, Louis had been piling work on since the rumors started, not liking ghat Mike could get some action when he couldn't. "Please? Ever since they started Louis hasn't given me a break, I'm exhausted." Harvey nodded, "ok let's go baby" Since Mike was so tired he was walking closer to Harvey than usual, their hands brushing with each stride. It was then that new rumors started, since they had to pass through the bull pen to get to Jessica's office, all the associates saw the same thing, walking so close that it's intimate and matching red soles. All the associates started whispering, wondering what could actually be happening, and as they passed Louis's office they were stopped by said man. "Hold up Mike." Mike once again whimpered practically pleading to Harvey with his eyes, but to no avail. "Mike I said wait! Jesus, Harvey, get your dog on a leash would ya?" Once again Mike was flustered for a different reason, but he stopped and turned around anyway. "Yes Louis?" "Finally, and don't get snooty with me I could give you more work." Harvey had to physically bite his tongue to stop from screaming at Louis. "Anyway Mike aren't you supposed to be doing work? Not gallivanting with Jessica's golden boy?" "Firstly, I had to do Harvey's work first seeing as I work for him, not you. Secondly, I know you've heard the rumors, everyone has, including Harvey, were fed up so we're going to Jessica to get them to stop, so if you'll excuse us." "Actually one more thing, yes I've heard the rumors, I heard 'em when you first came to work, hence the extra work, you should be having those... pleasures after the working week not during. But I've also been hearing the new ones, and I gotta say, from what I'm seeing I believe them. These ones, take out the middle man? So to speak." Mike and Harvey were both confused so they shook their heads and continued towards Jessica's office. Once they got there, knocked and went in Jessica looked at who it was. "Ah, Harvey, Mike, what do I owe the pleasure, are you finally here to confess your undying love for each other?" This had both men sputtering, trying to come up with a way to say no but too shocked to say, well, no. "Relax boys, calm down it was a joke, I've heard the rumors too... unless, judging by your reaction, they... aren't rumors?" "I- uh- well y'see- Jessica- Jesus ok. No they aren't rumors, I mean they are but they're... true?" Harvey tried explaining while Mike looked between the both of them in shock, to Jessica because, really, now she knows?? And to Harvey, because, really? I thought you wanted it a secret. "Ok woah, calm down, first of all what was the real reason you came in here?" "We wanted you to get everyone to stop with the rumors Miss Pearson." "Ok second of all, why'd you keep it a secret?" "We just wanted our own space for awhile, that and we didn't want anyone thinking Mike got any *more* special treatment. That's all" "Wait I told you I didn't care what they thought." "Yeah well I do Mike so deal with it." This had mike blushing. "And third of all, the only way I will help get them to stop is to tell both of you to tell them what's actually happening. You've had enough time I think." They both sigh, look at each other and have a silent conversation. Mike mutely slips his ring back where it goes facing the correct way and Harvey kisses his head. After the first action Jessica's jaw had dropped. "I'm sorry you two are engaged?? You definitely have had too long." "I'd say so, we're coming up on three years now Miss Pearson." "Ok that's it, out of my office I am now mentally drained." As they're walking out she sees the shoes and stops them once more. "Oh boys, if you didn't want people to think you're together, don't wear matching items" and points to their shoes. They confused, knowing they only own one item of clothing that matches, lift they're feet and see the matching red soles, simultaneously having an "ah" moment. They wave their salutations to Jessica and walk down the hall with smiles on their faces ignoring every look and whisper directed at them. They have another silent conversation, and by the time they reach the main hall where everyone can see them, they stop. Turn to their peers, smirking, then turn to each other and give their coworkers a show. Mike wraps his arms around his fiancé's neck while Harvey pulls him in by his waist and the give each other the most passionate kiss. Distantly they hear gasps and cheers (from Donna, Jessica, and Rachel) while they are in their own world of bliss. With each second a declaration of their love for one another, with each minute a promise to be there for each other, always. As they start to run out of breath they lean their foreheads against each other, as they hear Jessica say take the rest of the day off, so they grab their stuff and head home. The next morning they are so exhausted that they wear matching colors and Mike forgets to change his ring.
